Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) established in 1996, in Banglore, is a premier university. RGUHS is built on a 44-acre campus and is an affiliating university to all the Medical educational institutions in Karnataka. RGUHS is a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and is recognized by the Medical Council of India and the University Grants Commission. The university offers medical education in Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Homeopathy, Unani, and allied Sciences.

 All the RGUHS Admissions are offered based on merit scored in the entrance examinations. MBBS and BDS admissions at RGUHS are based on the merit scored in the NEET UG examination followed by the NEET counselling. Candidates must score merit in the KCET entrance examination for Nursing and Pharma admission at the UG level. Merit in PGCET is accepted for Nursing and Pharma admissions at the PG level.

RGUHS provides financial aid to students from financially poor backgrounds and minority communities. RGUHS scholarships are provided to the students to cover a part of their course fees. Students whose families’ annual income is less than 6 LPA become eligible for RGUHS scholarships. The Scholarship amount offered differs for each department. Scholarships offered are listed below:

Course Curriculum Overview:

Im join this course because of better job opportunities is there. My college suitable for that. Good teaching and Good faculties is there. Faculties are well qualified. Interpersonal relationship is maintain with faculties and students. I have yealy wise exams. But now semester wise exam is there.

Internships Opportunities:

In my college they provide 1 or 2 month training in hospital in every year and psychiatric nursing, community postings, OBG posting, etc. And the last year they provide six month intership with Salary and accomodation and food

Total about 6 courses are here,bsc emergency technology,bsc renal dialysis,bsc anesthesia and operation theatre,bsc radiology,bsc mlt,bsc mit ,bsc occupation therapy .and our college also have bsc nursing and general nursing as well as msc nursing . faculties are msc completeed and very good at teaching .they are experienced .total 4 exams are conducted 2 internals in every 4,5 months one model exam and a university exam . faculties conduct class tests after finishing a chapter.i have choosed this course bsc etct because it has very scope in the upcoming genaration cause it deals with emergency conditions so we are able to work in hospitals, air force,navy ,army etc.

Remarks:

This college is of Rajiv gandhi University which is one of the best universities known .and also here the faculties are very good at teaching .this college will be at the top in the rank list .I have joined in this college in management seat by a person .they told that this college has freedom and students are allowed to go out every week .but after some days they told we should only go out once in a month .the rules are changed after joining this college .total studying experience is good.

Faculties are nice , teachers are friendly and experienced, we are semester batch. So every 6 months we have Rajiv gandhi university exams, exams are rough and tough. But grace mark is also there like 5+ mark for subject

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our opinion is that the ayurveda which is arrived at before century and it is hidden from modern days and then we have to explore that because it can cure disease lately but more progress .the people who are coming to trating the disease from outside their opinion also good about ayurveda.

One thing that we can open the clinics if we donot get the job apportunity or campus selection but one thing there is no campus selection for us bcz we are medical students and I have planned that after completing my course I have decided that opening of clinic in our village

Cource curriculum academic and facilities are best here but the thing is the campus is not well developed as this college is far away from city and it comes under rural east but there is no problem for learning and education

Eligibility Criteria 

MBBS

The student must have an aggregate of 50% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects from a recognized board.

M.D / M.S

The candidate must have an MBBS degree from a recognized University.

DM/M.Ch

A degree in M.D / M.S in the relevant speciality from a recognized University.

BDS

The student must have an aggregate of 50% in 10+2 with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology as subjects from a recognized board.

MDS
