KIMS Bangalore Admission Process

KIMS Bangalore, MS Ramaiah Medical College and Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences are large private medical institutions in Bangalore affiliated with RGUHS. All three participate in the KEA Karnataka MBBS counselling system, so students often compare their intake, accreditation, hospitals, fees and locations before filling choices.

MS Ramaiah has the highest NAAC grade among the three at A+, a hospital with more than 2,000 beds and a wider range of postgraduate programmes. KIMS is an older South Bangalore college with community links, KFEA-regulated CET fees and established General Medicine and surgical departments. Vydehi began in 2001 and has expanding postgraduate options in East Bangalore. Since KEA uses the same Karnataka NEET counselling process for all three, a student's closing rank is the main factor that determines allotment.
