Bgs gims the real story behind the greens

What I Liked

The best part of this college is it's campus and facilities it has to offer , it's absolutely exceptional, we have a skills lab and an advanced tech library that's available 24/7 for the students....and these have all simulation educational equipments where in students can practice their procedures as many times as they please . That is not offered in any other college in Bangalore
The second best thing has to be the management who are hell bent on making sure you pass with flying colors in each exam as well as have the time of your life at the same time , the management always goes the extra mile for it's students and definitely definitely do their best at it ,

What I didn’t like

The fact that the fee structure is a little on the upper side makes the college sometimes unaffordable to those who have a constrain to the financial aspect but that also the management takes into utmost consideration and encourages students to apply to multiple scholarships and various other ways
Like any other medical college there will be some level of toxicity in every department here as well but that doesn't override the fact on how grestbthe teaching staff and the academic support team are with this college

The course curriculum is as per the standards of rguhs and meets the necessities of nmc as well , all staff are very good educators and have great patience the management takes extra care for all sorts of recreational activities and also gives detailed attention to the academic aspect of the course , it is one of the best experiences of my life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The faculty of this college is exceptional. It has very experienced professors and doctors who have a lot of knowledge. They are very helpful and always guide you to do your best. There are three internals exams conducted and one final examination which were difficult to a moderate level.

Which do not have such options as placements but a good number of students got PG seats. They are all well settled and got jobs outside the campus.

I appreciate the modern infrastructure and facilities provided by the college, including well-equipped classrooms and laboratories. Additionally, the vibrant campus life offers a plethora of extracurricular activities and clubs, allowing students to pursue their interests outside of academics.
The college library serves as a beacon of knowledge and learning, providing students with access to a vast array of resources that enrich their academic journey. With its extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources, the library fosters a culture of research and intellectual exploration. The tranquil environment offers students a conducive space for study and reflection, complemented by helpful library staff who are always ready to assist. Overall, the college library is a treasure trove of information and inspiration, empowering students to broaden their horizons and achieve academic excellence.

What I didn’t like

In the MBBS curriculum, one aspect that some students find challenging is the rigorous academic workload, which can be demanding and overwhelming at times. Additionally, the pressure to excel academically and maintain high grades throughout the program can lead to stress and burnout for some students.
One significant issue that students may encounter in college is the malfunctioning or inadequate air conditioning (AC) in classrooms. This can create discomfort and distraction, especially during hot weather or in regions with high temperatures. In such situations, students may struggle to concentrate on lectures and academic activities, leading to decreased productivity and learning outcomes. Additionally, poor ventilation due to malfunctioning AC units can negatively impact indoor air quality, potentially affecting students' health and well-being. Addressing these issues promptly is crucial to creating a conducive learning environment for all students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose MBBS because I have a profound desire to help others, a fascination with the complexities of the human body, and a commitment to making a tangible difference in people's lives through healthcare. Qualification of the faculty there are professors of qualifications of MBBS and MS. Every 3 months there is an internal examination. There are 3 Internal examinations and 1 University exam. The course is 9 to 10 months, not 12 months.

The washrooms are not clean. It is not well maintained. AC's don't work hence it is v difficult in summers

Course Curriculum Overview:

Almost all faculties are mbbs graduates atleast. Faculties keep active participation in research aspects as well. They keep students updated to the wide arena of medical advancements. Exposure is v good. They shall conduct one internal assessment every 3 months to assess the students and the quality of question paper produced is equivalent as our final year papers so it is a good aid to prepare for board exams as well
