I got into bgs through NEET 2021 My score was 429 hence i got in through a reservation seat. Cut off for bgs for general merit is around 500+ marks in neet and 420-450 respectively for other reservation categories. Bgs has good infrastructure from the outside. The campus is great. It offers all kinds of sports amenities and extra curricular activities. Teaching staff is good and exposure to hospital side is ok. Patient inflow is good as you'll find almost all types of cases. But the AC's don't work, washrooms are v less in number and not clean. Despite complaining changes have not been done expect that it has a good overall aura
Almost all faculties are mbbs graduates atleast. Faculties keep active participation in research aspects as well. They keep students updated to the wide arena of medical advancements. Exposure is v good. They shall conduct one internal assessment every 3 months to assess the students and the quality of question paper produced is equivalent as our final year papers so it is a good aid to prepare for board exams as well
Internship is at the end of 4 yr course. We get paid 8000 rs per month as of now. Other college have a wide range of stipend too. It is comparatively less at bgs. We work as interns in our own college.
All kinds of extra curricular activities are carried out. Sports as well and hostels are good v clean offering you single as well as sharing rooms. Food is good including atleast one fruit and dessert everyday at every course so they maintain healthy diet as well.
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
