St. John’s Medical College Courses and Fees

St. John’s National Academy of Health Sciences runs medical, nursing, allied health, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, hospital administration, and research courses. The fee details below are for management quota seats. Government quota or Karnataka state quota seats allotted through KEA have state-regulated fees, which are much lower.

The MBBS course includes five academic years and a compulsory rotatory internship in the sixth year. MD is available in clinical subjects such as General Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Anaesthesiology, and others. MS options include General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, and ENT. DM and M.Ch cover areas such as cardiology, nephrology, neurology, gastroenterology, and surgical oncology.

St. John’s Medical College Admission Process

Admission to St. John’s Medical College depends on the course. MBBS requires NEET UG, MD/MS requires NEET PG, and super-specialty courses require NEET SS. Other health sciences courses use the entrance exam, CET, merit, or university process stated for that year.

MBBS Admission

For MBBS, students must pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. The minimum required aggregate is 60%, while SC/ST students need 50%. A valid NEET UG score is compulsory, and the college does not hold a separate written entrance exam.

After internship, every MBBS graduate from a Karnataka private medical college must complete a two-year rural service bond. This rule applies to all quotas and includes a financial penalty if a student does not follow it.

MD/MS Admission

For MD and MS courses, applicants need an MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, and a valid NEET PG score. Seats are filled through state counselling and All India Quota counselling. NEET PG closing ranks at St. John’s change by speciality and category. Dermatology, Radiology, and Orthopaedics usually have stronger competition than subjects such as Pathology, Microbiology, and Anatomy.

BPT, BOT, and B.Sc Nursing Admission
