St John's- upsides and downsides

What I Liked

Infrastructure. It is one of the most beautiful campus grounds for a medical college in india
Library arrangements are up to standard.
Repaur work in the hostels is very quick and efficient. As soon as you register the complaint they'll fix it.

What I didn’t like

The mess food is not of good quality. It used to be very good but since the management changed the vendors, it has been spiralling
The traffic around the college is bad. The roads are always crowded.

Placement Experience:

We have to serve in underprivileged areas for 2 years as bond to the college after which we attempt the pg exam. There is no campus placements for a medical college. I intend to try for neet pg after the bond is completed.

Remarks:

St John's is one of the most reputed medical colleges in India. Here everything is student centric and the teachers are also very supportive. The admission is through NEET. The cutoff for my batch was around 490. I took a drop year to prepare for neet.

St.Johns...My Dream

What I Liked

They are a lot of places to sit and relax and have a cup of tea in the college and chit chat with you friends.they are a lot of trees.and gives very chill environment and very healthy environment.The faculty is lot experienced and will guide and mentor you.

What I didn’t like

Nothing much is there dislike.yoi will love the campus.

Placement Experience:

They r many opportunities after graduation.U can open up a clinic or gonfor post graduation. My plans after getting degres are to complete the 2 yr rural service bond from our college and then gonfor higher education.

Remarks:

The fact that the college offersore than other colleges like opportunities or exposure to world and also the quality of education is much better then other colleges.For the Admission u need to pass the exam NEET and get qualified for the college by scoring with in the cutoff range.

St Johns Medical College

Placement Experience:

Post MBBS you are supposed to do a compulsory rural bond which is allotted based on your marks scored during UG University exams. This everyone will be placed in some hospitals or other post completion of course.

Remarks:

St John is one of the top med schools in India. It was my dream to be admitted to St John's. The best faculties and high patient load with good exposure is every med student's dream and St Johns made it come true as well. There were no extra interviews or written tests apart from the NEET exam.
