- I like how academically organised our college is . The teachers are experienced in their respective subjects giving us a good platform to learn. It's very student friendly
- The hostel facility is really good compared many other private and government colleges
Dislikes
- I feel the extra curricular nd sports is a little lacking
- The distance between the hospital and college can be a problem
Remarks :
The college has really good faculty nd a good patient load and ample opportunities to learn... But the extra curricular and sports is rather below average it doesn't have a proper playground .. the college is placed a little far away from the hospital approx 6kms away . Admission was through neet pg counselling by kea and cutoff is usually around 48000 for general rural category The general category I'm not exactly sure
Course Curriculum Overview :
I always wanted to become a doctor Usually qualification of faculties are minimum of md/ms but many of the faculty are doing have multiple degrees and superspecialty .the exams are usually on 2 month or 3 month basis known as the internals The final exams are at the end of the academic year usually around February or March.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes! We have a mandatory internship after passing out final year of mbbs where we intern in KIMS&RH Bangalore Internship usually has all the world done by a doctor in an hospital Treat patients , keeping records , attending wards and visiting ots
Placement Experience :
Usually the placement criteria is completion of final year and starting internship ... We can do side chores like night duties which we'll be paid like 1000 per duty in private hospitals ... But after internship nd after our registration as a medical practitioner the salary is usually 30000 to 40000 rs Usually many people pursue post graduation after internship We don't have the campus placement culture but the salary of a reg medical practitioner is usually around 30000 to 40000 rs. My plans is to pursue pg.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It usually is 151000 for 2020 batch along with a miscellaneous fees of 65000 which includes skill lab fees and travel fees teacher gratuity fees.. the hostel fees is 110000....so overall including hostel nd college it'll cost approx 3.5 to 4 lakhs Scholarship can applied through ssp portal after joining which is a scholarship provided by the Karnataka state government
Campus Life :
We have a fest usually at the end of the academic year and the name is decided by the organising batch .... We also have sports around October and it goes on for approx 2 weeks and the final athletic meet on the last day of the sports calender The library and the study rooms are a good plus in this college I can vouch for that .... It has a spacious study room nd a good library. It has almost everything including computer nd prepladder tablets in the library to access online coaching or tutoring We have a cricket club nd football club , volleyball looking to scout talent and include them nd compete in the rguhs championships
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, I ve opted for a hostel. The food quality is good. And the menu is diverse with both north indian and south indian dishes it usually has rotis or chapathi in the afternoon and night along with rice. nd eggs approx 2 times a week and non veg approximately 3 times a week. The rooms are spacious and comfortable to reside with 3 inmates per room

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
