- What I like about the collage : There are several things i genuinely appreciate about my collage experience academics campus life and overall environment Infrastructure: The collage has modern, well equipped labs for x ray CT Mri simulation which are very useful for skill building in a hands on field medical imaging The library extensive Classrooms are spatious and smart board enabled making learning more interactive Clinical training provided by multi speciality hospitals Faculti : Faculties members are experienced and supportive especially radiology and imaging departments They are willing help us after the class and all
- Campus life : The campus is clean secure and student friendly There are good balance between academics and extracurricular including fest sports meet health awareness drives and all I have made great friends from other department and there is a strong sense of community The placement and internship support is excellent We get the help with resume building soft skills and interview preparation
Dislikes
- What I dislike about the collage : While am overall satisfied with my experience there are few areas where I feel collage could improve Infrastructure gap : Some of the lab equipment is outdated especially newer imaging modalities like mammography Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent at time especially during online class The library has limited copies of certain text book during the exam time
- Faculty and academics A few faculty members rely heavily on power point slides and theory which can make learning feels less interactive Sometimes lack of coordination between academic theory Campus life limitations: There are limited extracurricular clubs specifically for paramedical students The canteen menu is repitive The hostel curfew is bit strict Other areas : Placement drives could be more frequent and diverse
Remarks :
I choose the collage for the BSc medical imaging technology based on several key factors Academic reputation: The collage has strong track record in paramedical sciences and is affliated with a recognised health science university and the curriculum is well structured Clinical exposure: One of the main reason I opted the collage was it’s tie up with a multi speciality hospital. It provide real time hands on clinical training which is crutial in a field like medical imaging Infrastructure and facilities: The campus has modern lab with modern imaging equipment’s like CR DR CT MRI which is really attracted me Placement and internship: I was also impressed by their placement support , internship opportunities in leading diagnostic centres
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum : The course curriculum is well balanced between theoretical knowledge and practical application, it covers essential topics like human anatomy,radiography technics, radiation physics, CT, MRI,ultrasound and hospital procedures, from the second year onwards the focus shift more towards on training which is really world of understanding of clinical works. The internship final year students to apply they leaned in the actual hospital environment Academics: The academics based on annual evaluation pattern continuous internal assessment and lab work and viva session keep us engaged Faculty: The faculty members are knowledgable and experienced especially those who have previously worked in hospital imaging departments. They are supportive and approachable both academics and practical sessions

Internship experience and opportunities: Yes, I have opted for the mandatory clinical internship that is the part of final year of the bsc medical imaging technology programme Internship details : The internship lasts 12 months and conducted at a partnered multi speciality hospital affliated with a collage We rotate through various imaging departments General radiography Computed tomography Magnetic resonance imaging Ultra sound Fluoroscopy Mammography PACs We work under the guidance of senior radiographers and radiologist and assisting patient positioning , image acquisition , contrast preparation basic post processing Strict protocol are followed by regarding radiation safety , patient care and infection control

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary
