My life in NIMHANS

What I Liked

I like the vibe here. It is very peaceful.
The food and people are really nice. I love it.

What I didn’t like

Campus life is nice. It is beautiful and peaceful
Teachers and passionate and friendly. They teach well

Placement Experience:

Internship is there here only. It can be done for a maximum of a year. Stipend received is around 16000rps. My plan is to complete my internship and go abroad for work. We get paid 50000rps as starting salary.

Remarks:

I liked Nursing and I wanted to pursue this in a good college. This is a central government institute and this made me choose this college. Selection criteria is mainly based on written examination.

What I Liked

Serene beauty of campus is always admirable ..College,faculty ,and campus life is always top notch
The exposure we gets in nimhans is world class.

What I didn’t like

Behaviours of security officers are not that good sometimes
Even though they conduct sports meet and arts meet..There is no much appreciation for tat

Placement Experience:

No placement cells ...But still all of the students gets job very easily because of the quality of nimhans.All the students gets job easily in institutions like aiims ,nhs etc..The course standard from nimhans is always top tier

Remarks:

Prestigious institute with such heritage Admission process is they are having separate entrance for bachelor courses.The infrastructure of college is top quality..we can't see such medical amenities in any other private hospitals which enhances our skills .

Life of a paramedical student at NIMHANS

What I Liked

This institute gives us a lot of exposure, as it is an institute of national importance, we get to see kots of patients with different cases which not all the other students from different Colleges in the same discipline get to see.
There are draw backs as in you may not beable to experience the college life that many others have , but if you are ready to sacrifice that you will have a gteat academic experience

What I didn’t like

The fact that there are no extracurricular activities for the students, andthat we have to work even on holidays like staffs
There are no annual vacations or holidays for the paramedical course students

Placement Experience:

There are no placements provided by the institute, but there are internships for all the bachelors courses witha stipend of 13k per month. Which is actually good in comparison with other institutions.

Remarks:

The fact that its a college of national importance, and has a lot of exposure. Since my course is neuro base and this institute is a neuro speciality institute was also a factor that made me choose this institute

Summary of my college

What I Liked

Good infrastructure with high quality facilities. Highly educated faculties. Eco friendly campus. Good inter personal relationship
The clinical postings will provide great exposure in enrichment of knowledge

What I didn’t like

Actually nothing is there to dislike. It is like a family

Course Curriculum Overview:

The institute is the central government. They provide high-quality level education with lower fees. BSC nursing is one of the most opportunistic nowadays and here while being students we are getting a great experience in the clinical postings. All types of scholarships are applicable but being in the general category I can't avail of any of these. The exams are of moderate difficulty level. The annual exam will be written on a tablet

Remarks:

The admission was based on an All India Based Entrance Test. The atmosphere and surroundings of this college are outstanding, nature nature-friendly. The faculties are well educated and high-quality education is provided. Technologically this institution holds the best position. Great exposure to clinical posting will enrich our skills
