SSSIHMS Whitefield follows separate admission routes for its academic programmes. RGUHS manages the centralised calendar for B.Sc Nursing and B.Sc Allied Health Sciences, which usually runs from August to October before classes begin in October or November. SSSIHMS Bangalore Courses and Fees

SSSIHMS Bangalore Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing Admission

Only female candidates can seek admission to the B.Sc Nursing course. Applicants must have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, secured at least 45% marks, and obtained a valid NEET-UG score. Each intake has 40 seats, and students must live on campus throughout the 4-year course.

Depending on the selected stream, candidates apply through RGUHS or submit their application directly to SSSIHMS.

DNB Programme Admission

An applicant must have completed an MBBS degree and internship and must hold a valid NEET-PG score. NBE conducts centralised DNB counselling twice each year for the January and June intake windows. After the seat matrix is published, candidates may add SSSIHMS Whitefield to their preference list for Cardiology, Cardiac Surgery, Neuro Surgery, Anaesthesia, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedics or Urology.

Fellowship Admission

Admission to the Interventional Cardiology, Cardiac Anaesthesia and Critical Care Anaesthesia fellowships requires an MD or DNB in the appropriate specialty. Applications go directly to SSSIHMS. The institute selects candidates after examining their academic record and conducting an interview.

SSSIHMS Bangalore Placements and Career Outcomes

SSSIHMS Whitefield has no formal campus placement system. Career opportunities mainly come from the specialist qualification and practical clinical experience gained during training. NBE certification allows its DNB and fellowship graduates to seek super-specialty clinical work in India and abroad, including roles in private and government hospitals.

More than 1,43,500 cardiac and neurological procedures have been performed at the institute since 2001.
