For admission in bit sindri you have to qualify jee mains with minimum of 85 percentile for general and OBC categories 83 percentile for ews category and above 65 for sc st categories the you have to apply in jceceb counseling the get seat in bit sindri
Course Curriculum Overview :
I do not choose the branch and college the branch choose me the course curriculum is not easy for mechanical branch the all faculties are PhD holders from iits or another universities exams are held late in comparison with iits and nits

Many students apply for off campus internships in different companies like tata steel bhel drdo isro sail etc also some gets PPO in 3rd you will apply for internship you have to submit one project in final year

In bit sindri almost 90 to 95 % students get placement offer in core branches like mechanical electrical , metallurgy , mining , etc and almost 70 % students from CSE , it ece get on campus placement offer For core branches Ave package be 7 to 8 lac per annum Highest package be 16 lac per annum For non core branch Avg package be 6 to 7 lac per annum Highest package be 35 lac per annum
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For general and OBC male candidates the total fees per year be 19700 , in which 7000 annual fee ,7000 tuition fee , 500 registration fee , 4000 examination fee. For female and sc ,st and tfw candidate tution fee will be 00 zero
Campus Life :
One tech fest held in month of March or April and a rainbow fest held in month of December by ngo of bit sindri called prayas India The library of bit sindri is large in which all books related to the academics is available Sports fest also held at bit sindri called spardha in month of January There are total of almost 15 to 20 clubs and societies are present
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel are not much good after 1st year they are old but in 1st year you get new hostels which are good the food quality in mess are good enough to eat (you know mess ka khana kaisa hota hai) mess fee per month is 3900 and the hostel fee be 10000 per year

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements

Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
