The college is in dehradun, it has a really well maintained infrastructure and the atmosphere around the university is quite good. This college doesn't take any entrance neither does it conducts any interview.
The course is quite good if you want a future in mathematics, teaching and stuff. I wanna be a teacher that's why I chose this. Faculty is quite supportive. They teach you everything and connect to you on personal matters with your consent.
Yes I've done internship's but they were online. And university doesn't really provide internship in mathematics and all they give you internships in other fields and you can get internship online with the help of faculty.
Placements are offered but not exactly in the same field. You'll be provided jobs in sales , IT and other fields you are even encouraged to take up masters and other stuff . You can also take up jobs in the campus.
For the first semester you'll have to pay around 45,000 and from next semester onwards you'll have to pay 37,000 to 40, 000 rupees. The fee changes after sometime so you'll have to check it out with the university portal.
Life at campus is quite vibrant. Everyone is having fun and classes go on every day you'll have to maintain attendance and everything is quite alright it's fun here in this university you can check it out.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
