This college was highly reputed as I heard a lot about it, I wanted to pursue Diploma in elementary education and this was one of my dream college as the staff and teachers here are highly professional as it is obvious they are training us to be future teachers which needs a lot of professionalism.
This course was chosen by me because I wanted to become a teacher so diploma in elementary education was like the perfect fit for me in this aspect and also the college is very reputed with highly trained and professional teachers, so it was an easy decision for me to choose this college and this particular course. Exams are conducted yearly by SCERT and regular tests and exams are also conducted in the college with appropriate difficulty level.
We do get internship in this course by the title SEP(school experience program) but we dont get paid for it, it is a program in which we are allotted Schools to teach in for 30 to 40 days so that we can learn our work and pursue it properly in the future, we do get to learn a lot during both years of SEP.
As this is not a tech based course, there is no such placements but the teachers start to provide us opportunities to join various schools as primary teacher from the end of the second year itself, and also till now they are trying to reach out to us and provide us opportunities in this aspect.
The fees for the whole year was 37500 rupees which was divided in 4 quarterly installments of 9375 rupees. This fee includes all the charges incurred except the examination fees as examination was conducted by SCERT. The fees of my batchmates was also the same irrespective of the category they belong to.
The life at campus is the best as you get to explore so many things and they provide us opportunities in every way possible. They conduct co curricular activities every friday on different themes which gave us a chance to represent ourselves in multiple roles each time, every event is conducted here such as sports day, annual day, yoga day and much more. There is also a playground, tennis, badminton and basketball court where we enjoy and polish our skills. Also there is a library where we can find any book we want and borrow it.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
