- Campus Life is like averageish, stadium hai, ground hai, less people so you'll actually get to know almost everyone after a few months
- A lot of free time and 67% attendence and no problem even if it's lesser as they allow usually.
Dislikes
- We only have two floors, our own campus will be done by the year 2027-28
- Peer group bad. Lot of egoistic people are here among a few good ones.
Remarks :
Gave jee mains. The college is still in developing phase, no valuable additional course, just stupid ones being taught apart from the necessary ones to complete credits. I chose this college because at my percentile this was the best option possible and i didn't wanna go far away to NIT srinagar or something, i just wanted to do CSE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculty is nice. Qualifications are at par with the level they're teaching. With few overqualifed professors. Curriculum is updated in relevant courses and other ones aren't needed for anything at all. Just a time waste.
Internships Opportunities :
No, but it's expected to have decentish placements as they want to build a brand value equivalent to DTU and NSUT. But still it's not expected to be as high as them, average. And it's really hard to get good cgpa here.
Placement Experience :
Since it's been only two years. No placement data available, tho the intern season will start next year. My plans are to get an offcampus offer or maybe change college in the first year only like a lot of people do.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Registration fees is 1.5k, and if income under 8lpa and above 4lpa of father tution fees = 112000 per year and if less than 4lpa = 24000 per year. They give 50k rupees for a laptop you'll have to show them the reciept, no hostels, so pg outsides cost 10-15k per month.
Campus Life :
Not much social life but since it's in delhi and if you make friends you can have a city life, no active clubs yet, but in process, just 2 floors of college so just good infra but since our college is new, our main building will be completed in like 4 years.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel seats very limited, need good CGPA for it otherwise pg's will just cost a little more than hostels if you can find the right ones, which is what most people too. Canteens are fine like not too pricey.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
