- Classrooms and laboratories are good, digitally equipped. Clean and maintained.
- Courses are designed well but could be executed better. New and interesting courses like atomic spectroscopy which you do not find everywhere.
Dislikes
- Bad social life and food availability issues.
- Need more help from faculty, faculty is a bit passive in everything. Mainly admin dominated institute.
Remarks :
One written test to confirm admission and scholarship if any. The test is very easy, just basic aptitude and std 12th syllabus. Main criteria is 12th board marks, atleast above 55%. Pros- Relaxed environment. Good teachers. Good infrastructure. Good connectivity to campus. Flexible timetable. Cons- Bad location ( in an industrial zone) Less food outlets in campus and nearby Less events and cultural programmes.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Dedicated courses to each subject depending on your major. Course work is designed well, but not sufficient to crack entrance exams. Faculty is well trained but not to diverse in terms of research areas. Too much similarity in research work done in depts of Physics and Chemistry. Mathematics department is well developed and state of the art. Exams were a bit delayed due to us being the covid batch but were timely once it was resumed. Exams were easy and focused on the syllabus taught. The teachers are helpful and available at all times to solve your doubts and queries.
Placement Experience :
No placements for Pure sciences courses, absolutely zero. They are only interested in Btech students' placement. B.Sc students need to prepare for GATE/JAM etc separately, no help from faculty whatsoever.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yr-1 Total- Rs 80,000 + 10,000 deposit (55k tuition fees, plus Rs 1000-2000 in various fees like exam, gymkhana etc) Yr-2 Total 78,000 (55k tuition plus reduced fees for miscellaneous) Yr-3 Total 80,000 (58k tuition) Rs 10,000 returned as was deposited after course completion. No scholarship provided even after it was promised. Some relief in tuition fees for Reserved category studens (50% or more waived depending on applications). Same fees for all branches (phy, chem,math,stats). Increment of average 15% for every new batch.
Campus Life :
Main fests are conducted in a different campus, in March. Karnataka day is celebrated with vigour each year. Some on and off sports event like a cricket league and intra-college football tournaments are conducted in March end-April start. Library is well equipped. Classrooms are well maintained and clean. Digital resources are used to teach.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels were construction, and are very expensive. I rented a flat near Peenya metro station. Very bad food quality and not a lot of options for food outlets in and near the campus. The on campus-hostel rooms are on the shared basis with 60k for 4 sharing and increasing subsequently upto 80k for single room. All hostels have shared bathroom. The mess food is not good, only water in dals. Very bad north Indian food.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
