A Good College
Remarks :
The college is near to my home as it help me to travel easier and the examination I given us from university that was too easy named IPU-CET and the college have good campus, the cut-off was around 8000.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I opted have good curriculum and not too much pressurised and the facilities are also good and have a good canteen with good food and the faculties I have are very good in nature and also supports your college life and all the teacher a PHD qualified in their particular field.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The detailed structure is : Academic Fees - 96000 Colleges Fees - 40500 Examination Fees - 3500 and the fees for curricular activities like taking part in debate etc. is 150 rupees And the fees of my other batchmates is also same.
Campus Life :
The campus have a face recognition systems at the gate and have good guards and their are many clubs in the campus like dance, management and many more with good presidents. The college is organising a fest in the month of February named Zenith .

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
