There were no interviews or any other procedures while getting the admission in the college, i just went there and paid some admission fee and i was enrolled for the program . The day before going to my college my father just called them and if there is any seat available and they said that is almost full and we have to go there and enroll for the program the very next day me and my father went to mangalore from Kozhikode and joined in the college.
First of all the course carriculam was really bad and some of the faculties like AGM was really bad behaviour, in first year i chose B.Com with ACCA and paid more fees but then i realised that i want to change to B.com with Logistics and in Logistics the fees was less compared to ACCA and AGM didn’t give the money back and that was really a bad experience for me.
I have not opted for any internship while i was in college, but when I completed the course and came back to home and i got an internship under CA and it was really good i worked there for 5-6 months and then i left
When we were in last year some recruiters came for giving internships but at that time i was in bed rest as i got in an accident. So i didn’t know exactly what happened but friends told me that there were some aptitude test and group interview something like that.
In first year i have paid around 1,30,000 something as they said it is necessary for taking ACCA but it was scam and then I changed to Logistics , even though i changed from ACCA to Logistics they still didn’t convert the ACCA fee to Logistics. Fees for B.com with ACCA was 1,25,000 and B.com with logistics was 75,000 i 1,25000 + some additional fee for admission etc and when i converted to Logistics they still didn’t give the fee which i have given for acca
It was really good, i met a lot of other people who has came there to study and my friend circle stated to expand overall it was good with social life bad bad with the course. Coming here to study was one of the good decisions i have made not because of the college but i have learned more about life, i have stayed in hostel so I learned the value of money. In last year me and my friends stayed outside the hostel we rented a flat and it also gave me more experience. I will always recommend someone to go and study from outside their comfort zone, because then only we can be the better version of ourselves.
Hostel was good but the thing is hostel was on top of a hill and we have to walk this hill up and down 3 times a day and it was exhausting. Hostel food was okay we will get chicken daily at night. But if you want veg we can also get that. On weekends if we have to go outside we will have to call our guardian and give the phone to warden then only they will approve. Most of the wardens were friendly
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
