Im from Kerala and I just needed to study outside my hometown. Then I attended cuet. And then I can apply central Universities and. So I went for delhi university . As I'm from Kerala I didn't know much about colleges in delhi . So I opted some colleges which provides the course I needed (bcom). And then I got this college
My higher secondary background is commerce background. And ofcourse commerce students have most Opportunities in courses like bcom, bba etc so I took bcom. Academics and syllabus will be provided in college and university website. Faculties in my college are good
No I haven't opted for any internship yet, in bcom or commerce department there's no such intership opportunities available with college but In some other department like bachelor of social work (BSW) they provide internship in every year of the course as a compulsory or mandatory subject
There's only a few get college placement. The criteria for placement is obviously high sgpa and cgpa in final and passing in interview. I think the percentage of students getting placement is very less
In my college "Aditi mahavidyalaya" fee structure is comparatively lower than other colleges. Im a bcom program student and I'm paying around 7000-8000 annually . Now I'm doing my second year and in 1st yr I paid around 6000- 7000 . I think it increases accordingly of our year of course
First of all my college is and off campus college. Im north west of Delhi . But the college life is good. I have many friends but there's a communication barrier between us earlier but now I'm adjusted with that . I learnt little hindi(for survival ????). So it's amazing in college
There's no hostel for college but there's many pg's near college. There's a canteen in college but they provide average quality food only. Many students gave complaint against the hygiene of food in canteen
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
