Sgsits A good college to look upon a good placement

- The college campus is not so big so it is easy to find classes and the college is planted with a loof trees
Dislikes
- The buildings are not soo strong the buildings lag proper waterproofing
Remarks :
Being a first year undergrad at SGSITS Indore , I am sure that I can provide you with a satisfying answer. Same was the situation with me last year and I chose SGSITS Indore over north eastern NITs and after a year I am happy with my decision. For me college was always a secondary choice , first comes the branch I want to pursue my engineering in and I believe running blindly behind the NIT and IIT tag doesn't help. If you are getting your desired branch( most important factor) in South eastern NITs and if you are comfortable living at a location 1000s of KM away from your home , then you must go for north eastern NITs . But if you are not able to fetch your desired branch in north eastern NITs but you are getting it in SGSITS , undoubtedly go for SGSITS Indore. Let me figure out some factors to give you a deeper insight and thus help you in decision making.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The branch faculty is very friendly there there to help in each and every situation the couse is very apt first year faculty is not very helpful but our mentors are there to help everytime, This year exam pattern and grading system has also changed .
Placement Experience :
The college placements are decent the top three branches CS IT and ETc have the best placements with average placement of 8 lakhs per annum considering the lower or core branches the don't have a very good placement ratio but still gives decent placement than other colleges in indore
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The first year fees is 121600 rupees The second year fees is almost around 98000 Third and fourth year fees is almost the same I being an ST candidate get post metric scholarship which is around 1 lakh rupees a year More over for meritious students there is mmvy scholarship

I haven't opted hostel in college so I'm unaware about the decorum of the college hostel as far as I've heard they have very intresting life the do fun every day they have hostel tournaments movie nights and all

Placement and job opportunity is good in this college around 60% placed before start of 7th semester and 90% placed till end of 8th semester. Various company like Amazon , tcs , infosys , etc visit the campus. Highest package till now is 44 lpa and average is 6.5 lpa
Life at School Of Commerce, Devi Ahilya University
Placement Experience :
The placement is quite quite good as year on years recently the placement was goes 57LPA to 75LPA and teh avg was 7-8LPA and median is 10LPA something. The college have 100% placement record every year and they also give grants and loans for students who wants to startup. But the internship support is zero like college are only focused on placement they are not foucing on internship.

I would like to say there are more job openings and internship programmes we had than a private college for both Graduates and Masters students. job openings in TCS/ banks and industries too. The thing is you need to put effort to grab a good opportunity. attain placements opening whenever you got notification from college groups. be prepared. ask your teacher to clear more doubts. However, I am the one who already had a job so I did not take from there because I was working in tech mahindra and its work from home in my favourate feild.

MBBS a rollercoaster ????

MBBS is concerned there is no issue with placement. As none of the doctors are jobless. And obviously placements are good one can work in well esteemed organization after just MBBS but more people prefer to opt PG course.
