- College is located far from a developed city and is in rural area.
- Infrastructure is quite old which includes labs and hostels.
Remarks :
College is closer to home and offers mining engineering as a course and have a great faculty. College accept jee main percentile and merit list is released accordingly. Based on merit list ranks candidate can fill their preferred branch and then candidate are shortlisted.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Mining Engineering course offers a complete in depth knowledge in mining sector. All of the faculty have Masters degree and most of them have completed their PhD, faculty also focuses on the preparation for GATE examination. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months. Every semester two mid term exams are conducted 2 and 4 months in a semester.
Internships Opportunities :
In my first year, I did my intership from CCL no stipend was offered. It was a mine in khas mahal, kurpariya. During our mine visits we were told about various machinery and process involved during and after the mining process. The project was a description of the mine site which includes the haul road width, OB dump sites etc
Placement Experience :
Eligibility is based upon the aggregated cgpa, some company demands more than 8 cgpa and also age basis. L&T, Aditiya Birla, JSW, Vedanta and many more Highest package is from mining 16.5 LPA and average is around 10 LPA.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Year wise fees is around 12000 for sc category which includes 1500 examination fees per semester which comes around 3000 per year. 9000 includes tuition fees, lab charges, development fees etc. Yearly charges for Unreserved and OBC is around 19000 including registration fees. Students avail government scholarship like e kalyan which is for SC, ST and OBC. E kalyan pays around 22000 which includes hostel charge, electricity bill and water bill along with academic fees. Unreserved candidate apply for ONGC and Reliance scholarship.
Campus Life :
Yearly a tech fest is organised, held in months of March and April. Library have a number of course books as well as reference book and are easily available. Library is divided into section for every branch makes it easier to find books. Annual sports fest is organised named Spardha held in month of January as well as intra branch sports activities. College have numer of clubs and societies ranging from technical to social clubs. College also have its own cultural society to promote and preserve the culture of Jharkhand and foster their growth.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facility is good. New hostels are being constructed but right now old hostels are being used. Most hostels are equipped with solar. Hostel mess is average, hostellers have the leeway to decide the menu but hostel food is average.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee

You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
