Should i choose MAIT for B.Tech at a good percentile

- Faculty is very supportive and good . They often mentors and guides you in hackethons . Infrastructure is pretty average as it has lifts in all blocks. All books are available in library
Dislikes
- It has a small campus which a absolutely dont like . No fests or big events are organized in college .
Remarks :
According to my jee mains rank , this was the best college i could get according to me as one of the main factor that attracted me towards this college is placements and coding culture . I got 94.8 percentile in jee mains and a rank of 80k . I got information technology in spot round in this college
Course Curriculum Overview :
I got a good interest in coding from very start so i choose this course . Faculty of MAIT is pretty cool and good . All teachers are very calm and supportive towards all students . In a semester two time mid term exams of 30 marks are done , difficulty level is average . I can say end term exams are a slightly above average in term of difficulty
Internships Opportunities :
As a first year student , i opted for campus ambassador at IIT KHARAGPUR which is a unpaid internship . Currently i didnt worked for any project in this internship . Perks of this intership are - letter of recommendation and position of responsibility.
Placement Experience :
Placements and internship opportunities are average . An average package of 6-7 lpa is given to most of the students . Highest package is 55 lacs give by DE SHAW . Seniors keep on trying to get off-campus internships. If i wouldnt get a good package in on-campus placements , i would be preparing for off-campus placements side by side .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Our college take fees of whole year in a single time , its fees is 1,74,000 per year . Beside this many scholarships goes on like for single girl child and for reservations In 1,74,000 154000 is tution fees 15000 is cultural fees 5000 is registration fees
Campus Life :
MAIT has small campus of 7-8 acres only which is a major negative point of this college . Social life is pretty avg as it has good crowd . MAIT is affiliated to IPU so it doesnt has its owj annual fest but we can in ipu fests which is done in month of feb , fest name is Anoogunj . Spirts and extracurricular activities are also there in college . College has many societies like gdg , ieee , edc etc

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
