- College has seperate buildings and labs for every departments and the labs are fully functioning and provides all the necessary equipments.
- The college provides hostel facilities for both boys and girls. Food provided in hostel is ok for the amount we pay.
Dislikes
- The food provided in college canteen is not as good as previous years. The operation is based on bidding and the bidding will takes place in every year.
- We faces severe water shortage issue in summer and classes will be conducted as online mode.
Remarks :
Rit is a government college which comes under KTU(kerala technical university). As its a government college there is a High competition to get addmission. For MCA you need to pass the LBS entrance exam and need to come under a rank of 500. For b tech course one must attend KEAM entrance exam and for m tech courses gate score is required. The college has good professors with good infrastructure and labs. Only problem we face is the shortage of water in summer. College has cafeteria and canteen which provide ok ok food under budget. Transportation is available from all points , and there is 6 college buses operating.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Most of the professors are from best colleges like IIT. And college has good infrastructure and follows a strict academics. There will be two series exam in a sem which will be conducted in timely manner. There will be end semester exam which will be conducted by the University. Each department has their own buildings and labs. I'm doing MCA here and I choose this college as its the second best engineering college in Kerala.
Internships Opportunities :
I'm not opted for any internship. But college provides opportunities for students who are interested in doing internship. Companies like , IBM provides intership with placement cell. For m tech there will be a mandatory internship of six months
Placement Experience :
The college provides placement for students who require it. There is no specific requirement for registering in placement cell. The placement will be conducted based on the criteria provided by the conducting company. Few of the visited companies are TARENTO : 25 STUDENTS PLACED. IBM : 2, GEODIS, SHOBA CONSTRUCTION, G10X, UST GLOBAL, TCS, ELCTRIFLEX, TATA ELEXI, FEDERAL BANK. the highest package offered here is 20 lakh.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For every year there will be a tution fee around 8000. And also there will be a bus fee for every student. If you are a hosteler then u need to pay 1300 as bus fee. If you are a day scholar then you need to pay 2500 as bus fee. The college hostel fee is 310 for one month, and mess bill will be around 3000 every month. And there is a arts and sports fee which will be around 3000 every year. For OBC students, hostel mess and rent will be provided as E grants. Other general students will get e grants around 12000 per year from government. Every sem there will be a exam fee of around 3000.
Campus Life :
This college hosts a variety of annual fests and programs for students. RITU is RIT's flagship annual techno-cultural fest which is interesting and conducted in every two years. Keli is another cultural event which will be conducted yearly. Aravan is a sports Event which will be conducted in every two years. And also there will be other programs which will be conducted by omeach departments in college.
Hostel Facilities :
There is hostel facility for boys and girls. Ther are thee hostel for girls and 2 hostel for boys. Ther is also a pg hostel, which is a old bunglaw for post graduate students. Hotel rent is paid as six month basis, which costs 310 for one month and also there will be mess bill which does not exceed 3000 rupees. The food available in mens hostel is very good for the amount we pay. But the food in girls hostel is ok ok. Ther will be three special mess in a week for boys. And a there will be one extra special mess in every month.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
