- The infrastructure for studying is really good.The faculties are highly qualified and have a great knowledge in their fields
- The campus is always alive due to the various fests and events happening all over the college .Department fests,department wise sports etc always happens in the campus and make the campus alive.
Dislikes
- The placement in this year is very poor comparing to the previous years.only 50% of students got placement this year and it is disappointing
- The ground facilities available for cricket ,badminton ,handball and volleyball is too bad and they don't even have a good place to practice .
Remarks :
For studying MCA in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University there are only 3 government institutions and 2 aided institutions .RIT (My College ) is one of the three government institutions among them.And saying about RIT it is one of the leading engineering college in kerala in terms of academics as well as sports.The campus life in rit is also special and non comparable .The events and programs occuring at the college is also good.These are all the factors that attracted me in to the college .For getting admission in MCA i have written an entrance named ALL KERALA MCA ENTRANCE conducted by LBS keral.I have one of the finest ranks ,so that i got admission here.We need to score below 350th rank to get admission in the five colleges i mentioned above .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I think MCA is one of the finest PG courses prevailed right now for a Under Graduate which seeks a job in IT Sector .I think RIT is a good choice for that.Mentioning about the faculty ,60 % of the faculties who teaches have acquired Doctorates in their perspective fields.They have a great knowledge about the subject and they are very good at conveying them to the students .They try to take individual care on each student .In each semester there will be 2 series exams .Basically a semester vasts 6 months so in every 3 month there will be an wxam.
Placement Experience :
RIT have a good placement cell and placements are also happening very well..But comparing to previous years this year the placements are too bad.But the placement cell conducts various classes for placements as well..The criteria changes according to the companies ..Some say no backlogs some say backlogs are accepted etc .Accenture, Tcs, Geodis,Federal Bank ,Electriflix, UST are sone of the major recruiters in the RIT.The base package is 3.5 LPA And highest is 12 LPA.Last year almost 70 % of pass out students got placed.This year almost 50 %have got placement .My plan is to get a placement from college or after completing try off campus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of a student who studying mca in a government engineering college like me have a fees of 7640 per year and almost will have an expense of 10000 at the joining time.And in the second year there will be some extra fees like university fee,bus fee etc and also need to pay exam wees per semester ,that would be almost 2500 per semester .
Campus Life :
The Main Fest in RIT IS RITU Which occurs between 2 years.The last ritu was on 2023.it is the technical fest of RIT.saying about RITU ,it is the best experience on the RIT.The Djs ,the vehicle expo etc make RITU a memorable event.The Next main event Is KELI ,its the art fest of RIT which happened few months ago in November .Aaravam is the sports fest on the campus and it happened last year.These events are the soul of rit and happens each event at a year wise.and there are also the department events like vidyuth, prominence, ensemble ,vastheya etc happening every year.The RIT is the zone winner of all games in the zone and perfoms very well in interzone too..
Hostel Facilities :
I am in the MENS hostel of RIT .The application for the hostel is given on each year .There are two Mens hostel and 3 ladies hostel in RIT.Almost 350 boys and 400 girls are accommodated in the hostels.The food of Men's hostel is pretty good which have non veg on every day.The hostels are pretty affordable too..310 is the monthly room rent and monthly mess bill comes under 3000.

The eligibility according to our teachers is that we have to get the 7.5 above CGPA and the number of companies that have visited and recruited are TCS Wipro et cetera and the highest package will be to 7 and lowest will be 2 lakh my plan after the degrees that I will opt for higher studies and specialised in some specific course like Java and will look for the companies like that

college provide best on their placements , as a part of making college to be best at the era . principal told to our batch that they will provide 50% of placements , i am glad to be in this batch because sometimes i may get a college placement to make an expirence for the future jobs

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.

I choose this course because i have a strong interest in history and understanding past events,and culture and their impact on the present.the course curriculam is well structured and covers both core elective subjects,giving a balanced understanding of historical concepts.

There are few placement opportunities like infosys but we can't opt for high salary paying jobs.I am planning to complete mtech after graduating btech.There are many students with jobs from college selection but I don't like many jobs from college as per their salary

Most of the faculties are bds or mds graduated and well knowledged. Classes are mainly powerpoint presentation based and seminars. There are 2 internals and one model examination based on which qualification for university exam is determined.

I love zoology.. I want to build my career on this subject. My faculty has phd.. She teaches well.. I could understand all concepts very easily. There are internal exams. I am studying four year fyugp course. So there is only one internal. And then there is sem exms at last. If u study well u could score good marks. Little difficulty
