Remarks :

Yeah, at first I've heard it from the college advertisements made in my +2, then seen my friends discussing about it. Heard a lot of optimistic reviews about it from people. There's only a entrance exam and some other regular criteria from +2 like 75% and above for holding the eligibility in Amrita. Your performance should moderate and above for qualifying. Some of the entrance exams are easy like JEE where we have tougher and easier shifts...

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is "okish" because it seemed pretty fair relative to majority of colleges when I compared of the good colleges where I could have got a seat for free. I'm talking about EAMCET in Telangana. The faculties are good I mean there are different kid of people to mingle as always existing in our societies, like good, bad and worse but some are the best relatively. We use to have at least one quiz a week from any subject but it's very often to have class tests and quizzes after a change in the continuous evaluation part like the internals. In some departments it's converted from assignments to class tests and quizzes. This is how it runs in Amrita. We often do have extracurricular, traditional, sports activities maintained by students parallel without any issues. We had most probably a fixed schedule for the week but changes can occur with reasons. The attendance for students is taken manually not any thumb impressions...

Internships Opportunities :

I'm a student from S2. I did some projects but not an interview kinda things. I did one project related to EEE named after eye blink sensor. It was a team work . There were some clubs dedicated to this too. To find problems and their respective solutions by encouraging the students nearby and from social media too. "Amma" very much encourages these kind of activities. There are students in S4 who got internships and balancing college in the same path.

Placement Experience :

The placements here is a good thing to talk about. Averagely students get placed here at 7 to 8 lpa. It's obvious that students should have their own desires to learn and acquire knowledge on multiple languages and do much by exploring the platforms available and find their niche and focus more onto it. The eligibility criteria one standing with being zero and max a single arrear at rare cases. Score a cgpa of 8 and above. The most commonly heard are the posters which are advertised outside are rally true but few of them are off-campus. But students here get trained since the first year for interview practices. The highest package heard was 52-54 lpa as far now. Seems like they're gonna rise as a student I can sense some smell here.... Most often the cgpa is very least considered unless you have good skills to pursue.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure first splits as scholarship or non-Scholarship. Starting with Scholarship part, it's based on the entrance exam of Amrita and JEE Mains percentile, not JEE Advanced... So... at the counselling time you can apply for your desired course to pursue. Based on your scores and ranking system you may get that seat with the respective slab. It's categorised as 3 slabs right now .. Starting with slab 1 - who pays 1,50,000 as tuition fee, slab 2- 2,75,000 and slab 3 - 3,50,000. and around 70,600 for the hostel and mess fee... A 3k more providing bed, buckets, etc facilities.. The non-scholarship also writes the exam and you can apply to it with a fees of 600000 per annum. excluding all other fees like hostel, etc. Based on your eligibility, you can get to know whether u get a seat or not. Mostly it's a yes for everyone... Students on sc,st has a good factor here too like JEE, I think u got my point about the entrance exam like JEE..These scholarships are only the merit based

Campus Life :

There are good number of clubs not lot because they're clear about what they are doing unlike taking part in multiple clubs , they give their best from a single individual contribution itself. There are festivals like Onam which is grandly celebrated here. Vinayaka Chavithi which is assisted by the college regarding the funds and controlled by Telugu people. It might not look grand but still seems very crazy of an act. The best fest is Vidyut. This is the craziest among all the fest's of Amrita. It regularly happens in May and pre Vidyut events are also held...For the books- There is a library in the college, I'm pretty sure for colleges to have libraries... You can get special access to any journals or articles you want to know about, taking permission of the librarian. There are projectors in each and every lecture hall well known as classrooms as well as labs too for students which makes it easier for lecturers to interact with... The college provides very few sports items finely...

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel mess is really bad except for one or two food items available in a week. It was said that when Mata Amritanandamayi was asking about food to a student, him replying bad but Amma said that this food is not from Kerala but it's for the people who comes from many different places.Even the hostel fee, tuition fee varies from college to college,I mean the branches of Amrita. I'm taking about Amritapuri campus because I'm a student here and after comparing with friends from other campuses, sums up to a conclusion. The hostel rooms are good and sometimes disturbed by rats too. The very bad thing for students to digest is, they should be cleaning their bathrooms and it's only for the first years from second year we will be shifted to other hostels where students of 3rd and 4rth are also of the same area(block are different), we will be having common washrooms then. Canteen in the mess. Yes, there are rooms available for PG students too but mostly no body opts it without issues...

Sct review

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
