Likes
- The infrastructure of this college is really good and advanced. Basic facilities is available on every floor. The faculty members are really nice and knowledgeable and friendly too. The overall campus life is pretty great.
- There are a variety of clubs which a student can join and can be beneficial for their future career prospects.
Dislikes
- The campus compared to the student and faculty members ratio is really small and it gets very crowded
- There is a huge amount of fine on low attendance which is less then 75%.
Remarks :
I personally chose this college as it is a high profile school among the other colleges in Chandigarh. This one is near to my house. There many good aspects of this college like there are a number of clubs which is beneficial for every student’s CV or portfolio. There is water and restroom facilities on every floor. With these, there is also bad aspects like the college campus is really small and conjuncted compared to the students and faculty ratio. There isn’t any entrance exam or group discussion or written exam involved for admission. Students are selected on merit basis.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as i want to peruse fashion designing and the department of fashion designing in this college is very knowledgeable and advanced. There are many classes that consist of both theoretical and practical lessons. It increases one’s knowledge along with their skills too.
Internships Opportunities :
No I haven’t opted for any internships yet. But there is a number of internships available as there are a great number of clubs which provide paid and unpaid internships too. There isn’t any or much experience required for that.
Placement Experience :
The placement level after the completion of degree is really low and there is very less job opportunities. 2-5% of placements are given to students from every course. I planned to peruse my masters from another college.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is -32219. There is no tuition fees, caution fees. The registration fees is -1100 for BA and 75 for other courses. There is fees for practical materials like marking sheet and answer key for some subjects like psychology which is 45.
Campus Life :
There are many fests and events which happen in our college like innovite in January, lohri celebration, desi videshi festival etc. there is a vast collection of books in every genre in our library. Basic amenities are available easily. Sports room and fields for football and cricket are available too.
Hostel Facilities :
No I haven’t opted for hostel and i live nearby and commune by my personal transport. Although the hostel is very good and the room arrangements are either of 3 students or 6 students in a room. The mess food isn’t very good

Placement Experience :
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.

The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
