Likes
- They have beautiful buildings and an amazing garden filled with flowers and alot of trees. I love the atmosphere there. They have a great garden. And I love the playground and our classrooms are pretty good we have projectors , many fans and single chair for each of us.
- Faculty are pretty good. There are many inspiring people through them we have alot things to learn and grow. That is one of the best part at amrita to have.
Dislikes
- No place to sit in particular at the campus. Some facilities who are just got into teaching are a bit hard to adjust with. Campus life is okay but not having much of a extra Curricular activities make us feel exhausted and sad.
- The infrastructure is good but could be more better of they take care more and build separate blocks and more.
Remarks :
A mini interview, nothing much. I was going to take for BCA and they suggested me to take BCA Data science as my percentage on PU board was distinction, they made me take bca DS . One of my dream university was Amrita. Amrita University has its own unique features like their academic structure may not be suitable for all the people cause they have their own way of teaching. They focus more on academic than just fun which is valid but at the same time it can make us feel overwhelmed. They do make us prepare our selves for challenges and overcome our fear like anxiety or stage fear etc.. The admission process was a bit of confusing to me but later somehow I got it. They have some procedures and as a middle class student I found it hard to handle .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am interested in Computer science and it was always a dream of mine to Create an application or to build my own website and explore the tech industry as much as possible. Teaching is good but as I said not everyone can adapt to it as long as we have the mental strength and motivation to move forward we can do it and the Teachers are pretty cool and they all are different in their own way and some of them were like a motivation to me to work hard and some were still a beginner so we had a hard time adjusting to it. Exams are pretty okay to me. Even tho the way of examination they are conducting is new to me I did felt that it might help us to understand our selves more and they made a great choice on not showing the marks instead they gave grade which I felt was a great way to stop comparing.
Internships Opportunities :
Not yet but they started to guide us to start our internship and more. We have a technical training class for that to make us skilled and get more knowledge and to build our experience and growth. Our collage do have many famous companies which will help us to get our future dream company.
Placement Experience :
It has not yet come. From what I heard they will train us so that we can be well prepared for real world events. Amrita has its own mark in the industry so there are a lot of companies which will come on campus selection. All that matters is our skill and communications which will decide our future along with Amrita's Academia plan.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
97000 per year total fees for 3years is 2,91000 and i feel the fees are a bit too much to me and caste wise like every other collage low caste have more benefits than me and I feel it a bit unfair as I as a middle class family I an stuck in middle but somehow my scholarship helped me in my first year and after that it is difficult.
Campus Life :
Life in campus is pretty good I guess. I learned a lot of things and gained so many experiences. I was able to come out of my comfort zone and have a new life. I felt like a new chapter has begin in my life. Events are there like talent hunt and sathgamaya where we can see wide variety of dance performances , games , clubs and more. It's pretty cool. Clubs like dance , sing, literature, and more.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
