- As i already said about college- so the infrastructure is really nice, it's big and beautiful. And the faculty is nice, they are not old and mostly the ones who themselves are pursuing PhD or have just completed PhD, so they understand the struggles of students and don't pressurize them much.
- Campus life again depends on your company, and it becomes so much better if you find the right ones.
Dislikes
- About campus, i would stay they don't let you be in the building if you're not in class, you can't just sit on the stairs like many other colleges, here you're found roaming in the building while the classes are going on, and if any teacher sees you, then you'll be in real trouble.
- Second thing I dislike it the strictness regarding the dress, if you're found wearing the casual shoes, they'll make you go to DEAN or HOD and you'll have to listen a lot about it. Similarly with tie and ID card. It feels like as if we have entered school once again.
Remarks :
No, I didn't need to write any exam or anything for the college. I chose this college because I heard that it provides good education and it indeed do focus on education. They are very strict about it. And as for the admission, I contacted the college, got all the details online, I visited once just to see how it is and then I got enrolled online.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As I'm pursuing Bsc. Forensic science from this college, so I'll be able to tell about this course the best, so according to me, the teachers here are really good at their job, they teach very very nice, apart from some, these exceptions are found everywhere. And as for the course, it's very interesting, specially the core subjects like introduction to forensic science and criminology, but don't think that you will learn only subjects related to forensics, you will also be having EVS and human values like subjects, but according to me these subjects helps us in getting better cgpa, so it's not going to hurt you to study them. Other than that the college is very strict about uniforms, you will be taken to HOD even for not wearing tie, ID card or even black shoes. So must be really careful about dress code. You'll feel like you got in school once again. No programs. Nothing. But academically nice.
Internships Opportunities :
College provides with many internships like internships in MNCs but you will have to pay fees for that, they call it training fees, and then they will provide you with certificate. But as a student of forensic science I don't think me working in a MNC and learning public relations or doing an internships as a HR makes any sense, it has nothing to do with my field of subject. So I have not that that internsip and for that you'll have to pay around 5-8k. Why would you pay that if it's not even going to do any benefit for you. And neither did most of my classmates chose this internships. They all joined the groups and then left after realising that it's not useful for us in anyway.
Placement Experience :
As for the placement, it's decent, mainly the same hiring companies have been coming like TCS and Infosys (for B. Tech and BBA) and as for BSC. Forensic science, my batch (2024-2025) is the second batch only so we'll get to know about the placements here next year only. As for the the other courses like LLB, It's so good for it. It's named as law college dehradun because It's the best for pursuing law here. If we talk about my placement so, what I have come to know is getting job in field of forensic science just after bsc isn't easy, you can get internships but not full fledged job, so It's better to not waste your time and do a masters degree after the bachelor's, and so that's what I have thought too, i will be preparing for NFSU, top university in India in this field and if I get into it, then I'll continue doing my masters from there only.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So, fees varies on the basis of marks you scored in class 12th, supposedly if you have scored more than 70% you will receive some percentage of scholarship of around 5500 each semester and if you score more than 80% then your fees will be much less, similiary for the ones who get more than 90%. Also being a girl student you get scholarship of around 2400. And if your a resident of Uttrakhand then also you get scholarship. Each year they increase some amount of fees. But not too much. The first semester is the most expensive one, after that you the fees is less.
Campus Life :
College infrastructure is really nice, it feels good just roaming in there. And as for the social life, the more you interact the more you make your life out of it. The environment of the college is really nice, espically as everything has really bad image of the seniors and how they misbehave with the juniors, There is no such thing here, the seniors are super nice, they keep their business to themselves, AGAIN SOME EXPECTIONS. But IN the campus, it's all so good. There are different clubs, like sports and dancing, so anyone who's interested can just go in and see how they can get into them, the clubs are really serious and do work in order to grow. And at last your college and campus life depends upon the type of people you hangout with and the friends you make. So be sure to not choose the wrong ones, they can make you hate it and yes specially for the new students, don't think Everyone is true to you or your friends. See through them.

Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
