The college is affiliated with Haryana state University, provides good education and practical knowledge especially for journalism and It's near metro station. There was a interview type test before I got admission but it was not hard or anything.
I chose thi because I am a passionate writer and want to explore other fields of journalism and mass communication also. This college is one of the best in Delhi for this. Faculty members are experienced in different fields, some are working professionals in big news agencies, or have worked in past. They really teach in a way that you understand yourself and the market you're going to be in. Test conducts on regular basis mostly practical work like how to take interviews, computer use, camera work, projects of ground work etc. The exams are annual in all 3 years. There you also go on regular field trips and to news studio visits.
I have got opportunity to work work as content writer in Framed Media group, it really helped me to gain confidence as writer. I doing better than most in my job right now. Also stipend rare these days but the college got me covered there also.
The college provides as you enough opportunities in the final year for job placements as it has good reputation among several media houses. Even there used to come guest teachers from these media houses to give knowledge and job offers according to performance in last months. If you're good enough you can also land directly in a big media house such India Today or Times of India. In my batch almost every student is settled in their genres and earning good.
The total amount for a year I paid for this course was 75000 and overall(3 years) 225000. There are additional charges for all other activities like field trips, studio visits, etc. One can also pay in monthly or half yearly installments.
Campus is in very good place, clean and working posh area. There used to be fest and fashion competitions, freshers party and farewell party that's it. Sports is not that much there but you'll get it. As a journalism student you'll also get opportunity to work or manage college website. Also the events happens there are mostly manage by journalism students. So there is not shortage of gaining practical knowledge that will make you ready after college for real world experience.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
