Likes
- I like the faculty of my college as faculties are well educated from IITs.
- I do like the campus life of my college as various activities are organised regularly.
Dislikes
- I didn't like the infrastructure, I believe it to be more large.
- Also, there is not much games available in college, events are organised less like 1 in 2 months.
Remarks :
After passing out from 10+2, I considered many things while choosing college. I had prepared for JEE and got a rank of 99769, and with this rank I was not able to get any good college's. But, when I came across this university with my desired program, and less tution fees, I registered myself in the program and luckily, got enrolled in Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Institute of Technology, Tanakpur. I didn't got to see any Interviews, also I had given the test of JEE, so I didn't require to give any test.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My course curriculum has interesting subjects, it is more engaging for a Computer Science student to study various technology subjects with fascinating features. Our Faculty is also well trained, and has a degree affiliations with IITs and NITs. I got to learn much from my Academic course.
Internships Opportunities :
I have completed various internships, and some workshops was also conducted by college, I got good knowledge about various subjects like Cybersecurity, Data Science, and various interships and workshops is regulary conducted for student skill development.
Placement Experience :
I am currently studying the course, and the average package from our college is 4-6 Lakhs. In future, I think the placements gets increased. My plan after this course is to appear for Mtech, for a good placement package. This university do Offer Mtech Programs, and I see to get enrolled in future.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am enrolled in Artificial Intelligence and Machine program, and my Program fees is in range 56k-60k per year. The program fees for this program is generally higher in other colleges but, our college has least fees in comparison to other universities. Also, the fees is increasing every year, as more enrollment of students is surging. The best thing is that we do get scholarship of our program, and my total tution fees gets waived off. There is less trouble in filing scholarship as it is more handled by our university. Overall, I find this university the best in terms of fees and scholarship.
Campus Life :
The Campus doesn't has great infrastructure but has a decent one, our college organizes events regularly, the students are from various ethnicity. There is Badminton court and Volleyball court, where we play daily. There are different clubs in college for various activities. I am personally enrolled in Discipline and Placement Club.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
