The time I was admitted there were not any tests. Although now they have a written test and students have to qualify the test for admission and score a grade for exemption in fees regarding the same.
Academics is something that this college focuses on the most. The faculty is very experienced professionals. Although they hesitate to help students and come forward for problem solving. Although some of them are really helpful in nature.
The internship opportunities that I got were amazing. They helped me in shaping my career. The experience was amazing and helpful. The advocates were really experienced and helped me a lot in able to learn about the laws and procedures.
The placement cell works really hard for getting the students the right opportunities based on their marks and eligibility criteria. There should be no back exam. Everyone can sit and apply for placement offers depending on the course they've opted.
There's different fees for different courses. When I joined back in 2020 the fee was 75000 around for even semester and 85000 something for odd semester. Now they have increased the fees significantly now the fees for one semester is around 1.5L which according to me is quite high.
Social life is really good at this college. There are different clubs for distinctive interests. Since I'm a law student there's number of clubs here. Moot court for argumentative scholars. Aaraambh the debate society for the minds. Political enthusiasts have youth parliament and for the ones who like dancing and singing have cultural society. For the one's who like sports have sports committee.
I haven't opted for hostel. Since I'm a day scholars but since I have quite a few friends they tell me about the hostel services and how the warden and staff is really good. The food is also really good and they celebrate every festival.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
