BITM SECRETS
Remarks :
There were no Group discussions or interviews. It was a first come and first servce basis. I literally had no choice because while the KCET exam was there i was down with fever (Typhoid) no good ranking belongs to general category so i had to choose college in my home town and there were only 2 good colleges as BITM AND RYMEC So i went with the best.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was told AI is the future and there are many placement opportunities so i thought it’s pretty good let’s choose this. The knowledge of few faculties is pretty good. But few faculties are not even up to the mark. Some don’t even know how to speak English and pronunce words.
Internships Opportunities :
I did my internship in a very small company which was a start up. I worked as a coder with responsibilities of developing a code to build a platform Which was pretty good and i did this for 9 months. I received this internship from my contacts.
Placement Experience :
So finally about my college placements when we were getting placement offers it was recession all over the place world. DXC hired only 2 candidates and it was a mass hiring company. And few others also it was in very less numbers. The highest package was 27LPA and average LPA was 4LPA I was not placed from my college so after graduating i got a job but not in my domain. It was pretty hard. Out of 400 students only 150 were placed from my college and few still didbt receive their joining date.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees i paid is 140000 with 10000 rs as bus fee. I belong to general category. People belonging to other categories such as OBC OR SC will have more advantage such as they get scholarships and if they get good rank in KCET then they would barely pay around 25-30k ro the college and the rest would be covered by government. Other categories will receive SSP SCHOLARSHIPS. If you don’t have 85% attendance be prepared to pay the fine to the college as per their standards. When i was there i paid for one subject it was 750-800rs
Campus Life :
If your joining BITM then forget about the fests or sports or anything. When i joined in 2020 i was told there was a feast called explorika conducted every year. But i didn’t see any fest for 2 years. There is no support from faculties for sports or any extra curriculum. They only care about 85% attendance. But later in 2022 we had 2 fests one is explorika and the other is 25 years anniversary of college both of them were average.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
