Genuine review on my college life
Likes
- The main thing I liked about the campus is the academics that are provided by the management ( Bangalore ) as the faculties are good at teaching and they provide every essential materials and support for the career growth and studies.
- The second thing is that many opportunities are being offered by the management and it would be very helpful for every students as there is not any eligibility criteria for internships and placements.
Dislikes
- The thing I didn’t like about the college was college life itself as we didn’t have any particular campus.
- The second thing was we have only one event conducted per year, I thought college would be fun if we have many more events. And we can’t spend free times at our colleges in cafeteria as they only allows students to cafeteria at break time only and after the classes.
Remarks :
The factors that made choose this college was the value of the certificate and the certification they provide. This college provide the certification of the companies they had collaborated with which have huge value in our future. The academics are pretty good as the faculties may provide good classes, notes and necessary tools for examination. The bad aspects are we haven’t any particular campus ( Bangalore )for BCA,BBA courses and no grounds are there for the students, the behavioural of securities are not good towards the students, they are very rude towards us.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had choose this course with Robotics specialisation because of the future scope and the interests I have on computers. I like to be in IT field to develop my career, so I thought this would be an excellent option. The main reason I didn’t choose the BE/B.Tech was because of physics. We have very experienced faculties and also have the freshers, but the faculties which we have is teaching good and provide the essential materials we want for our studies. The academics are pretty good on my perspective. And I’m satisfied with the teaching method as they provides notes on the class itself. We have 2 internal exams the first one is held by the second month of that particular semester and the second internal is conducted on the next month of the first internals. Semester exams will be conducted within 90 days of a particular semester. The exam levels are moderate, if we know the contents well the exams will definitely easy. We can score good grades in our exams
Internships Opportunities :
As per now I didn’t opted any internship, the companies which our college has been collaborated are providing internships by last semesters. Even we have classes by the experts of the particular companies. Even we can individually do our internships. Even many companies came across with the internship ideas in our college for students other than collaborated ones.
Placement Experience :
Our college provides a very good placement opportunities as they have collaborations with ibm,tcs,Microsoft and many other companies. These companies are the major ones that are coming for the placement interviews, other companies will also be part of these placements. We didn’t have any particular eligibility criteria for placements, interested students can be the part of placement. As the Bangalore off-campus we can’t say about the placements clearly.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees I’m paying is 1,30,000 for BCA(AI,ML&RO) with IBM and TCS. The total fee per year will be about 1,65,000/-. As I have scholarship I got reduction in fees. The rules for scholarship depends on the percentage we had achieved in 12th grade and we should get 75% above marks in over odd sem , as we have scholarships only on even sem. Only 2023 batch have the tcs option, the remaining batches after that have the option of Microsoft, they should pay the fee about 1,42,000/- per year. No scholarship was provided by the management for the students based on category.
Campus Life :
Life at is campus is not that good, as we haven’t any particular campus for our courses. We have only 2 floors of campus in BCIT and the campus is in the form of office. Even we have lots of securities inside our campus, it isn’t good as their behaviour is not good towards students, on every corner of campus securities are there. Even we did have any campus, sports and extracurricular activities are taking place. So many active clubs are there in college, any students can be part of that clubs. No restrictions for participation
Hostel Facilities :
I had opted the hostel for first year, it was one of the greatest mistakes I had done in my college life, as the hostel rooms were very small for 4 members and they cost 1,30,000/- per year which includes the 10,000/- of deposit amount. The quality and taste of food was good at starting, but later it turned out worst. I stopped eating food in the hostel as the other students had found worm, hairs and feathers of hens. Some students are diagnosed with food poison. The hostel was not worth the amount. Due to too many problems the college had stopped the hostel service by first year.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

Eligibility for the placements is 7+ cgpa if you have higher cgpa higher the chances of you getting shortlisted for the interview and it will be easy for you Recuriters visited Cisco,Visa,Emerson,NetApp and many more for the internships and full time Highest package is 56 LPA and average package will be around 10 LPA for the computer science and Engineering for other branches it may vary

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
