Remarks :
The admission in this college was completed based on my CUET UG score which was 549/800. I choosed this course and college and freezed it immediately upon getting it since it's the best college offering this particular course. I didn't face any GD or interviews while getting admission in the college but yes I had to undergo the entire procedure of CUET UG and CSAS Portal for selection process where it was necessary to score in the written exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I wanted to pursue Microbiology Hons since class 12th as I was told by my biology faculty at school that it's the best course for biology students and has a lot of scope even in India. It's a unique and a new course wherein we'll be learning a lot about our micro world which govern the entire world. All our faculty at the department are highly Capable and Qualified, one of them completed her PhD from the University of Manchester,others are also alumni of other recognised and renowned institutions in India and abroad. The teaching method is quite interesting and good as we have digital boards where PPTs are shown to us and explained a way Amusing to us. Group presentations, assignments are taken which are quite fun for us. Semester end exam happen at a duration of 6 month gap and they are quite timely. Difficulty level is moderate and each student would be able to answer questions if gone through the syllabus.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
the total fee for three year is 68010. the total fee is calculated on the basis of first year.actual amount may vary.the fees might include components other than the tuition fee. first year - ~17k second year- ~19k third year- ~20K we have a malik award for the best student and scholarships of the bir Singh memorial award.
Campus Life :
The infrastructure of college is developing and improving but infrastructure of my Department and labs is quite well furnished.Fest of the college is Splendor which happens in Feb-March every year. Library is well furnished and equipped. ECA is great and we have societies established for Arts and culture, academics, counselling, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel is not there in any DU colleges. Only Shri Venkateswara College and few colleges in North have this facility ,no other college has this facility. PG system is there in DU and students who don't option for PG ,rent flats nearby the college

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
