You get selected on basis of jee mains rank. After appearing for jee mains rank you have to appear for ggsipu counseling and there will be multiple round for seat allocation around 3 normal round then 1 sliding round and 2 spot and 1 special spot round. Special spot round happens offline in main ipu campus, dwarka. There will be no GD or PI. The admission is purely on basis of your mains rank. The cutoff for C.S.E. goes around 50k for outside Delhi student and 80k for Delhi students but in spot round you have good chance to get a seat if you have higher rank also. In fact there is management quota also around 10% seats are reserved for management and you can get that by paying good amount of money price of that is not discolosed anywhere but for cse it must be around 15 lakhs.
I wanted to choose cse but because of my rank I was only able to get eee all the college professors has done PhD teaching style is pretty old with just a White board and marker and they don't focus much in practical knowledge but good thing is that most teachers are chill for attendance so if you have just taken 2 or 3 classes in whole sem of their subject they will be totally ok and won't bother you for attendance.
College organized an internship fair once in a year but get an internship there is really hard so college will not get you a good internship so for that you have to work hard on your on. You have to appear off campus and send cold email.
The placement was good at one point of time but because of recession now average package had dropped a lot it is around 6lpa right now but at one point it was around 8lpa. There are some big companies who come for more than 40lpa package but that only take 1 or 2 candidates maximum companies come for 5 lpa, 8 lap, and around that. Maximum students get placed maybe on lower packages like 3.5 lpa but maximum get at least somewhere.
The total fee of 1 year for B. Tech. Is 145200 in which tuition fee is 124200 and activity fee is 1000 and university fee is 20000. Although if you have Kashmiri quota your fee will get 50% of it and if you have sc, st quota or have a ration card you will get 45000 scholarship on it but you need to have a good cgpa for it around 8 Plus.
College has multiple clubs and societies and they all are very active. There is music society, dance club and eSports club they have jatayu and endhan which create ev . And there are many other clubs. There are sports groups in college too there is football ground which is also used as cricket ground sometimes and there is volleyball and basketball but sports are not that good in college so if you are a person who wants to do something good in sports and make career in it I won't recommend this college but if you just play for fun you are good to go. And main point is college is super chill on terms of attendance and other things like assignment and mid sem. I myself had attendance 15 Percent in 3 sem but nobody scolded me anything and I appeared in mid sem and end sem both and I also got good internal marks. Some people uses this lineancy as advantage they improve there coding skills or maybe follow their interest and focus on side hustle on other hand some just waste their time
I have not opted for hostel but some of my friends live there so I can tell something. First of all there is only one hostel inside campus which is boy's hostel and girls hostel is outside campus and hostel also has limited seats and they are expensive so maximum students opt for either PG or flat. There are many PG and flat nearby with much lesser price and within 1 km. Food of hostel of good as I have heard from my friends but you have to apply early since there are limited seats do they get filled very fast. The hostel fee for a shared room by 2 people and without AC is 200000 per year per person and it will go up and down regarding on what you opt. If you want single room it will increase and if you go for 4 shared room the price will be less.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
