- 1. the college infrastructure is under progress and soon will become a world class.
- The fee of the college is very low and nominal that is why the return to investment is very high.
Dislikes
- The faculty of the college is not so impressive, and method of teaching is not good.
- The sports facilities of this college are not good the ground is not good, and no steps are taken to fix it.
Remarks :
This college is ranked 1st in all Jharkhand in terms of Jharkhand associated government engineering college so getting this college is an opportunity to grab. The admission process includes the jee mains result through which another counselling is done within Jharkhand state namely JCECEB. This is a 3 round of counselling, and the common merit list is made out of it through which one can take admission in BIT Sindri.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I want to crack government exams in future and civil engineering provides wide opportunity and vacancy for this dream to come true. The faculty of this college is not much impressive in terms of teaching method but are highly qualified every one of them holds doctorate degree in their respective field. The lab equipment is a bit outdated and old fashioned this might be due to the fac that the college was established in 1949 and needs to be renovated. However, the development is going on very rapidly, world level of research and development center is going to established within a year. The semester exams take place every six months and in between 2 mid semester exam is scheduled. The difficulty level of paper is 8 in a scale of 10.
Internships Opportunities :
Currently I didn't opt for any paid internship, but I have done vocational training related to my subject. Many students get a chance to get internship in different companies for instance TATA Steel provides internship opportunities to the students later provides PPO that is preplacement offer.
Placement Experience :
The placement of the college is quite impressive for core branches like mechanical, electrical, metal, mining, etc. the core branch placement is about 90%. Technical branch like ece , cse, it etc. their placement is getting better yearly. JSW, Adani, TATA Steel, L&T WIPRO etc. the companies that visits every year. If I don't get placement, I will go for government jobs' .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee structure includes the following: 1. annual fee - 7732 + 7600 2. student fund fee - 4525 3. registration fee per sem - 2000 for girls and tfw the annual fee is -Rs 32 + 7600 The scholarship provided by government of Jharkhand is e-Kalyan , eligibility for this scholarship is one should belong to obc , sc ,or st category. a According to different category from 20000 to 30000 rupees is provided to individuals. The fee is not increasing.
Campus Life :
There is not many fests conducted in college but BITSAA Alumini meet is one of them conducted in the month of November every year. However, the social life is good in the college the friendly nature of the senior and juniors. There are 22 registered club in the college each provides a good social life and enhances the technical and managemnt skill also improves the communication skill of the individual. The central library situated in college is filled with numerous books and any of them can be issued by the student, Sc and St student get special access to the books. Many sports event like spardha , interbranch etc. takes place yearly. Sports club, ISTE club, LEO club, Rotaract club, Model club etc. are some of the prominent club of BIT Sindri.
Hostel Facilities :
To apply for hostel, we need to fill a form during admission and after that hostel is alloted and necessary documents are taken and affidavit is submitted. The food is overall good, and the mess staffs are very cooperative and gentle. The menu keeps on changing with both veg and nonveg options.

Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee
Placement Experience :
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College

College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
