- Curriculum is good.it is especially best for the AI specialization course in computer science engineering
Dislikes
- Weather here is very unique.its sunny most of the days even in rainy and winter seasons and it rains a lot during night and always humid
- Food is not at all good the menu is not being changed and not difficult to eat the same food for entire four years
Remarks :
To get scholarship in fees a student has to attend Aeee exam which is conducted in 2 phases in my study period I have only attended for second exam. One can attend both phases and highest percentile of both is considered for registration. In registration process we have to select the college,course and slab preference in order and depending on the rank and taking our preferences into consideration one of our preference is alloted to student but slab may wary.after 1st round students who opt to get the seat or those who want to try for next round to get lower slabs or any other preference should pay 1 lakh rupees to save the seat and this amount is refundable upto certain days after the seat allotment .need not prepare for exam seperately just the preperation for jee mains and advanced is enough.good curriculum and friendly faculty are the main good aspects and the main bad aspects is the hot weather and not much encouragement in sports.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is very good . I am studying artificial intelligence specialization in computer science engineering course and I have curriculum which makes me good enough to prepare small size A.I by the end of 4 years . And when it comes to faculty,almost every one is friendly,interactive and have well knowledge in their respective teaching subjects.unlike other colleges marks allocation is different internal exams are kept very often and holidays are given very often in even sisters exam papers are not very difficult and paper correction is not so strict.there will be a gap of 2-3months between midterm and end sem examinations
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opted for any internship yet, but there have been many internship opportunities provided by college from the start of second semester itself and most of these internships are from big companies like Microsoft,google etc
Placement Experience :
I'm still a first year student so I don't know much about placement but as far as I know to get placements we have to attend placement exam and there after an interview.this year the highest package offered to AI department is 42LPA and the overall highest is 56LPA .average is 11 LPA.the placement rate is high in this university compared to rest.this year 88% students got placed in my campus.main companies that visited our campus this year are Microsoft ,google, caterpillar ,Accenture, cisco, wipro,IBM
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Well tution fees depend on the merit scholarships. Depending on rank in Aeee and jee mains exams,students are categorised into a total of 4 slabs in which 4th slab is for students who didn't attend Aeee exam.student belonging to each slab have to pay given below tution fees and there won't be any wavier in fees based on reservations 1st slab-1,50,000 + hostel fees(72,000)=2,22,000 2nd slab-2,75,000+hostel fees(72,000)=3,47,000 3rd slab-4,00,000+hostel fees(72,000)=4,72,000 4th slab(non merit)-6,00,000+hostel fees(72,000)= 6,72,000 We have to pay registration fees of 5,000 for seat and slab allocation process and 10,000 aa caution deposit for first year,and 5000 for bed matress and other necessary items in hostel extra.apart from these there are no other fees for any exams or labs.we have to pay the Tution fees and hostel fees after the allocation of seat in refered dates
Campus Life :
Celebrations are conducted very often for every festival and main fest is vidyut which is a national level multi fest consisting of both technical workshops and non technical events is held every year may month.amenities in classroom are provided good enough without any remarksand almost all books related to couses provided in this university are available in library.even though there is not much encouragement for sports many sports events,contests are conducted .clubs here are mostly about tecnical work and most of them are meant for improving students knowledge in coding parts.but there aren't many clubs only few are there and no .clubs preferable for electrical department
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel food is not to the liking of many people. it's very blunt without any spices andwith mild flavours.hostel facilities are over all good but can't bare the heat during evening time and even in nights during most of the days.could have been better if A.C is provided but entire college and hostels are non A.C .food menu is same through out the year and there will be no change in the taste of food.over all infrastructure of hostels are good.to enter the pg we have to pay hostel fees and it is to be paid just after few days of tution fees payment.buses are provided for day scholars.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
