Remarks :
The only way to enter this college for pursuing B-Tech is by qualifying the jee mains. There must be rank less than 1,50,000 CRL to get into the college. The college campus is around 150 acres. There aren't any direct interviews or exams conducted the the college, since the institute falls under the CFTI's in India . and also the IIITDM kurnool is an institute of national importance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since I am enrolled in the Mechanical Engineering , this course have a wide space and the professors are really a lot supportive in every aspects. Many of the professors are PhD's from IIT's and NIT's . some of the professors are also having a foreign certifications. The quality of education is moderate. There are two exams conducted every semester , like a mid sem and a End-Sem exams.
Internships Opportunities :
Since I am in the 1st year I have not applied / opted for any internships. I do have plans for applying for internships after the 4th semester. A lot of companies do give opportunities for student to grab internships like amazon, flipkart, wipro etc, The IIT's and NIT,s also give the chance to the students of our college to get into interns into their institute
Placement Experience :
Since the institute is newly built it does not have a great perimeter for the job opportunities, but there's the IIIT tag which helps lot of student to grab placement OFF CAMPUS. The recruiters do come into the college but the have very less vacancies to hire. The highest ever package was 1.3 CR pa and average package comes out to 9 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of the IIITDM K have been noticed that , they are increasing as the year passes. We have to pay the fees per semester. There are tution fees , hostel and mess fees , other fees like library , sports, gym etc. If calculated totally theres a lump sum of 2,60,000 INR to be paid yearly . These fees are only for General and OBC category students, when it comes to the SC, ST, etc students there's none of the tution fees for them. These students have to pay only the other developmental fees . Some of the scholarships are available in the institute like NSP and other state scholarships.
Campus Life :
Since the college the started in 2015 the campus is not to big. There's still the work going on. The campus present is very good and its really worth joining this college. There have been scheduled events that take place. There's an annual techno-cultural fest held in the institute called "SOALSTA". This fest usually occurs in the feb-march. There's an excellent sports facilities including a turf , indoor stadium , different courts, and many more. There are many clubs too that run successfully in the institute like FMC, Photography, Coding, elc.
Hostel Facilities :
The infrastructure of the college is newly built and very good. The facilities of the college are all well maintained. There's been the quality life been kept for the students. The mess food is moderate in the campus. There's the option to apply for the mess and hostel while the admission. The hostel fees are 30000 per year and mess fees are 35,000. I have got the Kalan house of Residence.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
