- Campus life is the best here. Awesome people and friends. Clubs provide many entertainment sources. Seniors are helpful.
- You get ample time to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, UPSC, etc.
Dislikes
- Classes don't happen regularly and faculties are lenient towards attendance.
- College is situated a little far from the main city about 1 hour from dhanbad.
Remarks :
Best government college for the state of Jharkhand. Admission through jceceb which takes jee mains rank as criteria for admission. Campus life is good and we have ample time to prepare for competitive exams.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Course curriculum is good and updated. Faculties are helpful but you need to reach out to them. Electronics and communication has great future scope in India. Exams are held in 2 phase mid semesters and end semester.
Internships Opportunities :
JSW, ITC, Reliance and other companies offer internships. More than 100 students got paid internships in various companies and organizations(IITS, IISc, ISRO) . Role is Graduate engineer trainee intern for the companies and research intern for organizations like IITs and ISRO.
Placement Experience :
Placement is good in core branches like mechanical, electrical, metallurgy and mining. In non core branches better coding knowledge fetches placement. Companies like JSW, ABG, Vedanta, TCS and TATA Steel recruit from here. Average package is around 7 lacs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution and student fund fee is around 12500 per year. Hostel fee is around 10000 to be given once a year and mess fee is 4000 per month. Scholarships and financial aid is provided by BIT Sindri alumni association. You need to apply after taking admission.
Campus Life :
Best campus life in my opinion. More than 15+ clubs and every branch has its own society. New infrastructure is being added every year. Most books are available in the library. Fest hasn't happened in few years so can't say anything about that. Classrooms are well equipped. Sports events take place every year. Various clubs like Hackathon and coding club, model club, ECO club, NSS are active. Club culture is the best thing in this college as it helps in the overall development of a student.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is alloted to evey student. Hostel fees is 10000 per year. Mess food is good and hygienic. Both veg and non veg food is available. It is quite affordable. Registration will take place after admission.

The Real BIT Sindri Experience
Placement Experience :
Placements are the main reason people come here. For Electrical, big players like Tata Steel, JSW, and Vedanta are regulars. The average package stays around ?7–8 LPA, while the highest can go up to ?15–20 LPA for core branches. You become eligible for placements from the 7th semester. I’m planning to sit for GATE as well, as many seniors here aim for PSUs. For internships, the college helps with vocational training in places like DVC or HURL, though paid internships are something you usually have to hunt for yourself on LinkedIn.
Average University in Jamshedpur in low fee
Placement Experience :
You have to at least maintain 7CGA for sitting in placement season company like Wipro Infosys come here placement season. Average package of BBA is 4.5 lakhs. Almost 80% Student are placed through campus placement. My plan after getting degree pursuing MBA
My Dream College
Placement Experience :
College give only about 30% placement and there is very few companies or hospitals which are visited to the college for the employees. You have to do it with yourself when you are go to the internship. The highest and average package as I see is about 30,000 per month and maximum to 50,000 per month And I saw that student who top is maximum getting chance for the placement which is rare .
Netaji Subhas University is best for engineering in low fee and for who is already doing job

You have to not active backlog in any subject. 8+ cgpa perefer first then below 8+. Eternal achievers, infinite solution, paul tech like local jamshedpur it company visit for placement. 80% students placed from our university. I will look for higher education.

I don't have any specific information about placements because I am still studying, but some seniors have got jobs which tells me that everything is fine. There are some seniors who work in Tata Motors and DRDO with good payments.

The intern is provided for training in nearby schools in 3rd semester. It is unpaid internship basically done under the curriculum.It is compulsory for the students to complete this teacher's training to get the B.ed degree. There is no such placement opportunities You have to go off campus to get placed in any school.

There is no campus placement in this college, so we have to plan our own jobs or internships after completing the course. Eligibility criteria for jobs depends on companies, mostly they ask for basic knowledge and skills related to the course. Some students do internships on their own in local companies or online. Since there is no official placement, there are no recruiters, packages or offers from college. Around 0% students get placement from college itself. My plan after degree is to prepare for government jobs and also apply for some private jobs related to my field. Overall, college is good for learning, but for placements you have to work on your own

"Placements in my college are slowly improving but still not at the level of top engineering colleges. Some companies visit every year but the number of offers is limited. Students who have good skills and prepare on their own get opportunities easily. The eligibility for sitting in placements is usually 6.0 CGPA and no major backlogs. Recruiters like small IT companies, training firms and a few core-related companies have visited. The highest package was around 6–7 LPA and the average stays near 3 LPA depending on the branch. Around 25–35% students get placed from campus and others go for off-campus drives. Internships are mostly arranged by students themselves through online platforms. After completing my degree, I plan to prepare for off-campus jobs and also improve my technical skills to get a better job in company or in government job
Expensive college with mediocre placements
Placement Experience :
Placements are mediocre in my branch ece. Last year 60-70 percent students are placed. Average package is 13lpa approx and highest in my branch was 58lpa. Core companies like NXP come for placement. Tech companies like foipkart, meesho, visa, goldman sachs come for placement.
