Likes
- The campus is beautiful, there is greenery all around. The faculty is overall good.
- The infrastructure is not very good since it is a very old college so buildings are quite old.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not good, the gaurds here are also not good and not a all respectful.
- The one thing i hate the most here is the inn timings for girls after which you cannot go out of the hostel.
Remarks :
You are supposed to give the JEE Mains exam to get into national institutes of technology and have to secure a rank that is needed to get into that particular NIT. According to my rank i got into this NIT and also i am from Haryana so i got benefit of the state quota. After you clear the exam you just have to fill the right choices while the counceling process. After you get a particular college, then there are no further rounds like personal interview or something. Then you just have to get your particular documents scanned and verified that are being asked. The atmosphere here is very good, with the best campus, greenery all around. Overall this college is a vibe.
Course Curriculum Overview :
So, honestly i wanted some upper branches like computer science or information technology. But for that my rank was not appropriate, so according to my rank the best i was getting was mechanical branch, so opted for it. In all according to me one should prefer college over branch anytime. The faculty here is again like you find everywhere, basically at last you have to study by yourself. no matter how good the faculty is or how well they are teaching, no body is going to pay attention, this is what happens, you will just study a night before exam or maybe a week before the exam. so, the faculty does'nt matter honestly. There are twon mid semester exams here of 15 marks each and finally one end semester of 50 marks, 10 marks are for attendance and rest of the 10 marks a for the internal assignment. They are not very difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, i have done tow internships but not from the college, i got them from linked in platform. I worked with null class and internship fusion as a data analyst intern. During my internship i was giver certain tasks that were supposed to be completed by ms. they were related to the data analysis and data cleaning part.
Placement Experience :
Placements are overall fine. There is no as such a criteria for placements, you can sit in any placement drive, in which your branch is allowed. The recruiters include maruti, honda, hero, itc, sun pharma, oracle, paytm, microsoft, amazon, flipkart, meesho etc. Highest package in mechanical branch is 17 lpa, average package is 7 lpa. The percentage of students which get placed are approximately 80 % every year. My plans after the degree gets completer are that of a job.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee for every semester is approximately 1 lakh excluding the hostel and mess charges. There are in ttal 8 semesters, so for each semester this 1 lakh is to be paid with 30000 mess and hostel fee which is also to be paid per semester. Also, there is some concession if you have the income certificate. There are two categories of income certificate , one is below 1 lakh and other is between 2 to 5 lakh. There are scholarship programs also for the top performing students in the acedemics.
Campus Life :
The college life is great here, so many things to do, so many activities to keep you busy throughout the time. There are many clubs and societies here to engage the students are create social awareness and to enhance your social life. Clubs like spic, aeromodelling, elad, hlad, shiksha, erac, mechsoc, infra etc. are there. There is library from where you can issue the books you want for your semester exams. Sports and extracurricular activities are also giver importance, students go out for inter nit tournaments to paly various sports. There is a society called SAE society of automotive engineers which is run by students themselves.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes, i have opted for hostel and mess. The mess food is not very good but you will have to bare with it. There is no other choice like maybe you could have start the tiffin system but these people dont allow. like if you stay in hostel you will have to eat the mess food there si no choice. The menu is again fine not very good, not very bad, but you can get it changed if you want. The hoatel and mess fee id 30000, per semester. And the best part is you get single rooms, no sharing.

Placement Experience :
KRMU provides placement assistance through its Training and placement cell, which conducts aptitude training, mock interview, resume building sessions and skill development session to improve students employability. Student become eligible for campus placement in the final year subject meeting the criteria of the individual company. Eligible criteria include maintaining the CGPA, having limited or no active backlog, and fulfilling company specific criteria.
A Growing University with Good Facilities and Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements are decent for skilled students with eligibility usually starting in the final year . Companies like TCS , Infosys ,BHEL visit the campus . The average package is around 4-6b LPA . After completing my B-tech degree , I plan to pursue a career in software development

Placement Experience :
Aroun 6.5-8 cgpa should be maintained to avail for placement. No backlogs. Respect teachers. Fee visited recruiters were ICICI ey pwc etc highest packaging where I heard about was 56LPA and average was around 9-12LPA.

Curriculum was very much reasonable and it was very much easy to understand it also had division of management studies and computer studies which made it very much easier for me to understand the faculty was amazing and very helpful

There is no certain eligibility criteria depends on the company and Many company comes all every year. Layi Blinkit, Zomato et cetera et cetera Also, there are separate departments for placement like CDC department

Currently i am perusing my PhD so not applicable for me and the placements i have seen is very impression companies are good like tcs, bain, lumenci, proedge and average package offered is 12 lpa. so i hope to get a good chance for myself and get a very good placement looking forward for the beat chance
