This is a known university( IPU) , that’s why I opted for this college for a better education. B.ed course is not given that much importance but I wanted to gain from a regular college for better understanding
The teaching practice done by the college teachers is way too hectic. Academics are fine, teachers explain well, exams happen twice in 1st year and 2nd year is of teaching practices and lesson plans.
They make you internships , I’ve done one with GHPS, the experience was good but more focus was given on formality than to gain knowledge instead of teaching , pupil teachers were used for substitute periods
Nothing is good about the placements.. very less chances are given to students and no good pay of the placements the highest pay was 18000 and that too for a school in Gurgaon and very selected students are allowed to participate .
For 2 years fee it is total of rs 3 lakh plus other charges Moocs exams. Sikh minority people have some perks they are charged less as it is a sikh minority college GNCE of IPU ! If you belong from general category then it will cost around 4 lakhs excluding accommodation
There is no campus life in this college, it is more like a school. Only the canteen is good where you can get comforting food otherwise it’s just about the books and no general education is provided .
There is no hostel facility and PG’s in Punjabi Bagh are quite expensive so rather go for accommodation in Rajouri Garden, Tilak Nagar and other near by areas where rent is cheaper and good quality of flats / pgs.

IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
