Remarks :

We had to give the JET (Jain entrance test) where in we were asked a variety of questions from logic, reasoning and comprehension. My interview was taken by the course faculty and the questions that were asked were relevant to the course and why did I pick the course. To prepare for the exam, it's better to study from NCERT textbook and look at questions given there. For the interview round just make sure you are ready to answer subject based questions and any personal questions.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course that I'm currently doing in bachelor's in English, journalism and psychology. The reason I chose this course was because it is a multi disciplinary course which will enable me to see what carreer options that I can choose later on as it will give me more exposure. The faculty is decent, in terms of giving material to study from and the classes are really interactive as sometimes the teachers also ask us to interact and teach the class. Although most of the time they follow a normal lecture method where we are just listening to the teacher and taking running notes. The exams were conducted on time and they were relatively difficult as we had to apply the concepts that we had to study about since I have given my first sem exams, this was my experience. In terms of exam they follow the UGC guidelines which means you have to have 75% of attendance and above otherwise you won't be able to get your hall ticket and write your exam.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The yearly fee for general students is typically 1,50,000 inr per year. So if you are planning to do a diploma(4 year degree) it will be almost 4 lac odd. The fees is affordable considering what you have to pay attention other universities.

Campus Life :

youth fest and a psychology related fest related to sustain development goals by the UN conducted in the month of March. It was a 3 day event which was related to psychology and AI in collaboration with the psychology department of our school which is school of social sciences and humanities. The university itself provides the textbooks for each sem although you do have to get it from the in house stationery shop and pay a reasonable amount for the textbook, the library has a vast amount of books ranging from journals, newspapers and various types of books. The classrooms are decent size and hold all the classes and each course has its own designated floor, as for example since I'm in BA EPJ (English, psychology and journalism) our classes are conducted on the 9th floor. There are many clubs on this campus, one of the most active clubs is abhijna which is the psychology club and there is always something going on in that club, they have an instagram account where they update stuff

Quality Education In Minimal Fees

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

BSc Physics at Jain University

Course Curriculum Overview :

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

MSc Physics at Christ

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

A review by a normal college student

Placement Experience :

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
