- The environment of the campus. 800 acres of land . Mostly occupied by greenary
- The hostel atmosphere, better hostel washrooms and cantee food with affordable price
Dislikes
- The hectic schedule of the department which will not even give us time to do our own activities
- The poor lab facilities , very congested labs and classrooms
Remarks :
The college will give an atmosphere to nurture more than in academics . Students will get interactive with different states of India even from foreign countries. The entrance exam for getting admitted to this university is CUET PG , each year the cut off will vary according to the competition and the toughness of the exam. The syllabus of the entrance exam will be as that of degree level of your UG The academic and lab facilities are dull in entire university . The space of classrooms are not enough to accomodate every students. The extracurricular activities will be restricted in some departments
Course Curriculum Overview :
The syllabus is easy ,but the evaluation done is little tougher. sometimes the faculties can be biased. I purely chose this course because my Ug was in the same background. The teaching skills and methods of most of the professors are average . Some are extra ordinary. Most of the professors are highly qualified. The sem exams are highly and neatly scheduled but the difficulty level is bit higher . Moreover the syllabus of my course is very similar to the syllabus of so many competitive exams like CSIR NET
Internships Opportunities :
I've not opted for any internships. The college will not provide any internships. They won't give us time to do internships from outside the university. The sem schedule is that much hectic. In other departments there might be some internship programs
Placement Experience :
They won't provide any internships or placements . So students themselves have to find out there own way. But the university charges fees as placement charges during the time of admission. There will be very few placement opportunities, that too not related to our major
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For 2 years the fees will be about 50000 then mess fee will be about 50000, there are scholarships based on the academic performance and reservations . The fees will vary according to the reservation catagory
Campus Life :
Life in campus is good . More than extracurricular activities students with build more connections with people and most of them becomes extraordinary and extrovert. There are several fests based on the native rituals and other festivals from all parts of India. There will be department programs . Library is very useful and it contains several books with lots of copies and helpful for so many students. There are sports items like basket ball, football, cricket etc which helps in entertainment as well as a refreshment
Hostel Facilities :
Food quality of mess is low , the menu is also low . But at cheaper rates . When we get the admission department will give us a form, for getting hostel admission too. The hostel fee is 1000 per year but the mess fee varies depending of the number of days in 1 semester

There have campus placement after completing our course if we are wiling to do so on the affiliated colleges or off campuses of the university. For women also there have colleges at local and national level. Students also prefer to proceed their studies at global level by entering into international universities and other programmes.

The college has its own placement cell .each year almost 400-500 students are getting placed.the well know recruiters are TCS , Accenture,Bounteous , Capgemini etc.the highest package of cur end year is 12LPA.

Placement opportunities are excellent in SMVEC which is an attractive factor to join this college. Internships need to join based on our own intrest. TCS ans CTS is an main recruiting organisations in this college.

Eligibility for sitting In placement is that we should not carry backlogs and we have to maintain a decent cg of 7+ some companies do allow even you have backlogs but mostly they don't . In eee we have a good scope of getting palced this time everyone who sat for placements was placed and the highest core package of 12lpa which is actually good. Average was around 7 lpa for core in eee . I'll probably choose upsc career so this placement thing is not my piece of cake . Still our college is good for eee core placements

Placement Experience :
Job placement is quite bad in our university if you think to get addmission here you will fight for job . You have to apply directly to the companies. Companies are coming here but they didn't provide placement more than 30% .
Bharathiyar College of Engineering and Technology
Placement Experience :
The few companies which attended the placement drive were pharmaceuticals and sales companies, which weren't related to the field we pursued. Students attended the placement drive got placed and were able to bag below average packages. The percentage of students who got placed were around 40%. My plans were to go for higher studies. More emphasis could have been placed by the college on the placements and more opportunities could have been provided by the college for the students.

Placement Experience :
Every year students are placed in a week reputed companies like Amazon,Virtusa,TCS, Capgemini, Renault and so on. All the students having eligibility to attend the placements but some of the Top MNC expected 60% eligibility of throughout 10,12 and academic CGPA. So not eligible students also having more placements options to crack it.
