I choose this college because my family and friends recommended it. I did not face any group discussions, interview or written test fot admission. The admission was easy. There were no tests conducted or anything. You just pay for the registration and then you get your admission.
I choose b.com and i have 5 subjects per semester which includes 5 units each. But now that the college is autonomous the curriculum has changed. The teachers are well qualified and good at teaching. For me, there are 4 internal exams and 2 external exams per year.
The yearly tuition fees is 40000, the registration fees is 15000. But now that the college is autonomous the fee structure has changed. My juniors who took admission after the college became autonomous, their yearly fee is more than 70000
The campus life is nice. We have facilities like library, cafeteria, computer lab, girl's common room, sports room, even dance, music and arts for those who are interested. There are multiple events throughout the year the main one being the annual week. We have ethnic day, diwali mela, etc.
I lived in the hostle for the 1st year, and then i moved out to like in rent. The hostel facilities were ok and the locality is good with many shops and cafésThe hostle is 5 mins away from the college. Everyday the college bus comes to pick up and drop the students.
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.
the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.
Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.
I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.
Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
There are good placement and job opportunities are there in off campus placement because there are many sites whivh provide job and internships like inteshala and there are many other platforms to find the job and internships
