Remarks :
I chose this college for this its good academic reputation, qualified faculty, and good placement record. The admission process was through EAMCET exam with a cutoff of 25,000 rank. I prepared by revising core concepts and practicing mock tests. The college has a supportive environment, well-equipped labs, and active student clubs. However, some areas like infrastructure or hostel facilities can be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because it matches my interests and offers good career opportunities. The curriculum is well-structured and updated with industry needs. Term exams are conducted on time with a moderate difficulty level, testing both understanding and application of concepts.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I opted for an internship through my college's placement and training cell. The college provides good internship opportunities with companies like Microsoft and Accenture. The roles offered include intern, developer trainee with a stipend of Rs.15,000 per month. During my internship, I worked on projects where my task included data analysis and coding. These internships helped me gain practical experience and industry exposure.
Placement Experience :
Placements at the college are generally good with many reputed companies visiting the campus. The eligibility for placements is usually a minimum CGPA of 7.5 and no active backlogs. Recruiters like Microsoft and Google visit regularly. The highest package offered was Rs.56 LPA, and the average package was around Rs.14 LPA. Nearly 78% of students get places every year. In case campus placement isn't available, students explore off-campus opportunities or pursue higher studies. After completing my degree, I plan to go for higher studies.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly college fee for my course is Rs.1,00,000 which includes lab, tuition, development, registration and other compulsory charges. Fees have slightly increased each year. I paid Rs.95,000 in 1st year, Rs. 1,00,000 in 2nd year. Management quota students pay around Rs.8,00,000 for 4 years and this will change according to branch preference. This may go up to Rs.15,00,000 . Scholarships like e-pass will be provided for eligible students and yearly fee would be reduced .
Campus Life :
Campus life is lively and engaging with a mix of academics and fun activities. There are several clubs for culture, sports, and technology, such as plugs for dance and e-dam as technical club. Our main fest, "Spandana" is held every year and includes various competitions and events. The library is well stocked with books and journals, and classrooms have good amenities like smart boards and Wi-Fi. Sports facilities are available for both indoor and outdoor games. Students rum social groups and websites to share updates and connect with peers.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel accommodation. The hostel rooms are shared, with fans and attached bathrooms. The mess serves food 3 times a day-breakfast, lunch, dinner and occasional snacks. The menu includes items like dal, rice, egg, biryani and food quality is generally good and tastes amazing. To apply for a room, you register via office application, submit documents like fee receipt and ID and you pay a hostel security deposit of Rs. 5000 and overall i find it reasonable for it's cost.

From what I have experienced the college starts preparing us for placements much earlier than I expected. We regularly have coding practice, project work, resume reviews, aptitude sessions and mock interviews, so you are improving little by little instead of waiting for the final year. The college also shares internship and job opportunities with students. I feel the support is definitely there but your results depend on how much effort you put into building your skills.

Since I am still a student I haven't gone through the final placement season yet. But from what I have seen the college starts preparing us quite early. We have regular coding sessions, aptitude training, mock interviews and resume building workshops. The placement team also shared internship opportunities whenever they are available. I feel the college is more focused on making students job ready than waiting until the final year. If you stay consistent with your coding, projects and overall skills, you will be in a much better position when placement season starts. Overall I think the college provides good support, but students also need to put in their own effort.

As a current student I haven't reached the final placement season yet but the college has already started preparing us. We get regular updates about internship opportunities, and many students apply from the early semester itself. Along with that there are sessions on resume writing, aptitude, communication skills and interview preparation. NIAT is a relatively new institute the first batch hasn't graduated yet, so there isn't any official placement record available. However the college has done a good job of preparing students through practical learning, coding and real world projects. Many students have already secured internships from the first year itself which gives them valuable industry experience. Along with technical skills the college also provides guidance for resume building and interviews, making students feel more confident about future placement opportunities.

Eligibility is that we must maintain atleast 60-70% aggregate overall without any active backlogs. Recruiters are Infosys, TCS, Wipro, AWS etc. Total no. of offers made: All branches combined get 700-1100+ offers. Highest package is 52 lpa offered by AWS, and average package is about 6 lpa. About 60% students get placements. After getting my degree, I intend to get a good job in campus placements in companies like AWS, and go towards VLSI field
