- Big campus. Have two big libraries. One large basketball court, peace park area, so many canteens, popular Aloysius chapel, Aloysius museum, large auditoriums, good lab facilities
Dislikes
- 75 % compulsory attendence, every saturday working day. No holidays for festival like onam, vishu, etc
Remarks :
No entrance exam required. Direct admission. You will have interview. And you will get admission there . Either you can apply through online mode or offline mode. I got admission by directly going to college, filling up the application form and admission procedures. At the end you will have a short interview which is easy
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in research area. So I chose bsc in biotechnology and chemistry there. And there professors are phd holders. They help in our studies very well. They will conduct seminars in each semister . Lab facilities are also very good. We have 2 internals exam before our end semister exam. Also they will conduct a model exam before semister practical exam. And also you can chose two majors for your degree(double major course)
Internships Opportunities :
Yes I've done intership during my course. Our college will not give any help in finding companies for doing internship. We students have to research about it and do internship from good companies. I did a research internship at Cochin University of science and technology. That was a research internship with no stipend
Placement Experience :
By my knowledge there is no placement for bsc students. Other courses have placements there. For us bsc students they will guide us for our higher studies like about entrance exams to get into best universities.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees structure 1st year-56000/- 2nd year- 42000/- 3rd year- 38000/- (It includes all fees) There scholarship is also provided. Like vidwath spoorti, vidya spoorti etc. and students who get above 80% in semester exam will get merit certificates. And this college offers inspire scholarship.
Campus Life :
Our campus is the best. A well known college in Mangalore. And our college conducts various fest in each semester. Like traditional day, college annual day, science fest, raptox, utsav, imprints, etc. our college is popular in sports also. Some students in our college has got opportunity to participate in republic day parade at Delhi. And there are so many notable alumini in our college. We have 2 libraries in our college( one ug and one pg library) . Wide range of books are there. We have a regular uniform there. Many associations which include dance , music, ncc, nss, science club, astro club etc. and for nss and ncc they conduct annual camp. It is mandatory for all students to join any one of the association.
Hostel Facilities :
I stayed in separate pg. I didn't got any hostel room as I got admission late . By that time hostel was full. I got nearby pg there. Named sn ladies hostel. I didn't liked that hostel, so I shifted to another apartment

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
