Remarks :
Overall the amrita university is good in the reaching every student for solving problems by some technical and realistic Learning method. But it fails to get the exact point required for the future working in tech in some software development companies and food also not that much good in taste as the university is in kelera it is tough for north Indians to adjust. So this is the bad thing about the university. And coming to admission process students should attend a exam conducted by the universy AEEE exam after class 12. You should definitely score the 90 and more percentile in the exam and then attend for the counselling by the university and then decide the slabs you are eligible and take an admission inthe amrita vishwa vidyapeetham.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Artificial intelligence and data science is a treading and I am highly enthusiastic about it to develop a Artificial system for the better and innovative tech for future,so this passion and intrest in this stream is the reason that I choose this course .the curriculum is good and it is updated for every 2 years to have a pace with current developing technologies. It also give a best qualified faculty for us most of the faculty members have some phds from IITs and some NITs the remaining are from our same university teaching us and parllelly doing their phds in our university they good in teaching and most friendly in nature. Exams are conducted for every semester as 1 midexam and a end semester exam with 2 class tests for each semester. The exams are mostly logical based and high thinking of student are tested in the field of his/her pratically work, so it is moderate for a basic student and can get good scores if you work hard and play attention in classes.
Internships Opportunities :
No as of now I am in 2nd year I am not doing any kind of internships. Regarding internships all the students gets mails to their outlooks Regarding the inteships mostly . Students get the internships from the campus only by the basic and major companies by your merit list
Placement Experience :
In terms of job opportunities and internships our campus has the best record of getting placement with a percentage of 98% of the members are placed in our course with some of them are from an package of 58 lakhs per annum to an average package of 8 lakhs per annum for most of the students. It is best to do the btech in amrita university. It helps you to face the reality of the world and up skill for placement. Mostly you can see companies like Infosys, amazon, zoho,mahendhra tech, tata consultant,HCL and many small start up companie.my plans after this is i am going for higher education by attempting to the GATE examination.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
According to the recent fee structure every branch has a scholarship slabs. It is determined by a pre university test conducted by amrita university. The lowest fee is Rs1,50,000(slab1) is give to merit students. Slab2 the fee is rs2,75,000 then for slab3 it is about 3,75,000 and the non scholarship fellows will have a fee of about a Rs 6,00,000 these fees are same for every academic year there is no increse in the fees but you have to maintain your slabs.The fee system is entirely based on the merit based which decides the slabs there is no external reservation such of SC, ST or any other as the university belives education for life and education for living. Regarding tution fees you have to pay a amount of Rs10,000 as an deposit for the full course period of time
Campus Life :
Best fest that is conducted is the vidyut it is mostly conducted in May as it is the major fest of our campus. So you guys must visit it as it can get you the best moments of your life . The library of our campus is peculiar and you can find wide variety collection of books and some local Malayalam daily comic books along with some journals. Our campus also hosted a sports complex with a football, volleyball, basketball courts and a basic weight lifting equipment and more .there are more tech side clubs that offer wide programming skills as amfoos,bios and acm.
Hostel Facilities :
The quality of the food is good but the taste is not that much as I am from Andhra Pradesh I like to eat some spicy food but as the university is in kelera they provide you some quality food less flavored and spicy. So its not up to my taste. I think it is difficult for the students from north to adjust for this too but the quality is good. You cannot find any kind of non- veg in the college mess. So you cannot have non veg in mess. You should buy it outside . Registration is very easy for the hostel they as for hostel in counseling stage opt for hostel and pay fees and complete the process the hostel is affordable and good for everyone.

I chose Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) because of my interest in technology, programming, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. The curriculum follows KTU regulations and covers both theory and practical subjects. Most faculty members are qualified . Internal exams and semester exams are conducted on time. The difficulty level is moderate to a lil bit high and students who attend classes regularly can perform well.
