Remarks :
There was counselling round where we were asked why to do the certain course and why choose this college.I decided to join this college because of this location.Means it was in my locality and was providing the same course that I would go out of town to pursue so It was good decision to choose.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I liked to do coding and doing practical with computer science stuff so it was easy for me to choose this course I could have choosen btech but I don't know but I was never interested in doing engineering but I was always interested in technical stuff. Our faculty is highly educated they all have more than 15+ years of teaching experience and have high qualification like phd. The exam structure at our time was so advanced like it was implemented with NEP which focuses more on practical than theory.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted any internship yet cuz I have joined the college like for about 6 months but I am sure I will grab one when I will be in my 2 or 3 year of my college cuz it will help me prepare for my future. Our college tells us to make projects so that our resume would be powerful enough to make us sit in an interview.
Placement Experience :
College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
SIMT KASHIPUR offers various scholarships on the basis of merits and percentage scores in class 12.It provides very affordable fee structure for every course and is one of the best college in Kashipr offering variety of courses.There is no relaxation of fees on the basis of caste category fees is equal for every one.We have to submit fees as per Semester.
Campus Life :
Our college doesn't have fest it orgaises Annual Function and it mostly happens in the moth of February because it is the best time for it. Our college have a vast variety of books for the available courses.The library is fully packed with new books for the curriculum. Our college also organises sports meet
Hostel Facilities :
Doesn't have hostel facility yet.But I know that they will soon provide the hostel facility when they will offer some more courses in future.I think it will be good for those students who come from very far everyday .

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
