- The college campus is enjoyable if you have a group of friends. Faculty here is very supportive and approachable. Participating in events and societies make college life easier and fun.
Remarks :
One of the best things about this college is the faculty. Teachers here are well qualified and approachable regarding any doubts in the lecture. However the infrastructure is a bit of a letdown, some of the buildings feel old and since it is an off campus college, located in Najafgarh, it is a bit hectic if you don't live nearby. The admission here was based on the CUET-Ug exam and the CSAS portal. There were no GD/PI . I just focused on my 12th class subjects such as accountancy, economics and business studies. We also have to prepare for a language and a general test to qualify the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BCOM because i have always been interested in finance and the subjects align perfectly with my career goals. Most of the faculty members here are well qualified holding Ph.D with years of experience. The teaching method is mostly lecture based and are open to discussions also. As for the exams. Delhi University conducts exams every six months. They are moderately difficult, you just need to focus on more theoretical part which makes it more easy to crack.
Placement Experience :
The placement scenario is approximately 60%-70% of students securing opportunities. Top recruiters like WIPRO, TCS and ICICI Bank has visited the campus. The highest package has gone up to 8L per annum while the average being is 4L-5L PER annum. To be eligible for placements, students generally need to maintain a good academic record with no backlogs. My personal plan after getting the degree is to appear for competitive exams such as CAT, XAT and banking exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of the college is approximately 14000 per year. This amount covers the tuition fees, registration fees , admission fees and other charges. While the general category pays the the standard amount, other categories gets a significant concessions reduced by a decent margin. Delhi University offers special financial assistance for students who show great academic but come from low income background.
Campus Life :
Life on campus is quite active and social. Our annual cultural fest, known as 'Navrang' is usually held in March or April and is the biggest event in the year in our college. There is a library which contains plenty of books for all the courses and subjects. Our classrooms are basic but spacious equipped with fans and some of the classrooms contains smart boards. We have a ground for basketball but usually people don't play here instead NCC units are way more prominent here. We also have a student run groups like Fashion Society, Dance Society, Cultural Society etc. that organizes small events and fests throughout the year.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
