MY EXPERIENCE AT KALA VIDYAMANDIR
Dislikes
- The college staff is not that punctual and the teachers are always late.
- There is no clear time table for the lectures and may times lectures have been cancelled after the students have assembled in the class.
Remarks :
I was researching government diploma colleges in Mumbai on Google after 12th, that's when I saw this college. I asked my father to check out the college and see whether it was good. He gave the college a visit and talked to the principal and was satisfied. After some days, we(My brother & me)came for finalizing our offline admissions, at that time it was raining and the college being deep in Malvani, the journey was very muddy and exhausting. We were neither asked any specific interview questions, nor were asked to attempt any written tests, just which branch we would like to enroll in.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was in coding and the IT industry, so I enrolled in the Information Technology diploma course. The faculty staff was not exactly the experts in their own subjects. Some of the teachers were downright not qualified to even teach, while some were knowledgeable and happy to solve our doubts. The exams were not that timely according to the academic calendar provided by the board, and the difficulty level was above average. The Scholarship for OBC Students was available for me, but the funds disbursement was never on time, which is why the college was demanding us to pay the fees on our own.
Internships Opportunities :
We were expected to enroll in an internship program conducted by a company that the college arranged compulsorily. We paid for the internship and were not satisfied with the course. There was no stipend given to us, and the instructor was not that eager to help us learn. We completed a project and got our certificate from our respective alloted companies.
Campus Life :
The social life in the college was not bad. There is no club or hostel service available here, but there have some events since I have joined, for eg. Garba, Bolywood day, Engineers day, etc. Students of the same branch have their own unofficial group, to discuss their own matters. My campus life has been enjoyable, but that is largely due to my friend circle.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
