I belong to Gargi College which is in south campus, it's a well reputed and famous college with active socities and well functioning students council. It's a women college that can be a problem for some students but once you join the college you will adjust. Eveready some or the other event is happening in the college, it's never dull. I'm pursuing business economics hns. Which is a proffesional degree and very few colleges offer it with gargi being the best clg for this course, you have to give DUJAT exam for admission in this course. Overall Gargi is a Tier A college and the crowd here is extremely diverse, you will never feel left out here or judged. Every culture Is accepted and praised.
I wanted to pursue a proffesional degree so I went forward with this course. The faculty student ratio here is 5:55. All the teachers here hold diploma degrees, although the teaching is not up to the mark you have to do a lot of self study, one cannot rely on the teachers to understand everything. Now BBE being a practical course the papers or exams are actually very tough, it's all about practical knowledge u can't mug up everything, you have to understand the concepts to be well prepared for exams. But it's manageable
I did one internship through college at Prosple India as a content creator for a month where I was offered 5000 rs for a month. I created around 25-30, videos for their page. It mostly consisted of education stuff. It was a decent experience.
As I mentioned above there are good placements opportunities available for students in their final year. Especially for students from bcom hns. And prog. , eco honours and business economics hns. Other courses do not see as much placements. You will get good companies of tier A as well as B and even dream slot companies. Every year around 100-200 companies come to college for placements and decent amount of students are placed depending on their skills. Internships are mostly non paid with not really good profiles, only profiles like marketing sales and hr can generally be seen.
The fee structure starts with 41000 and increase by 1-2000 each year. I just got placed in a tier A company, the placements here are between moderate to good, with highest package of 23lpa. If someone wishes to sit for placements she is sure to be placed. Although internships are not very good but placements are good. I'm not aware of scholarships or any such thing.
Life at campus is amazing especially if you're a part of any society or cultural society to be specific. I'm in the dance society of my college and we participate in around 10-15 competitions happening in different colleges in Delhi as well as outside Delhi. We have been to BItS Pilani, IIT BOMBAY and NIT KURUKSHETRA for our competition all at the expense of the college, you get a budget from the college every year for participating in competitions. It is a great experience you get to know new people, interact with them all of which helps you grow and learn. I'm not really sure about the library because I've not visited it very often but I have heard of it be good. There are uncountable socities at Gargi for every student cultural, non-cultural, sports etc. All the socities here are run by students itself which is again a plus point because we host events conduct competitions and learn to manage everything ourselves.
The college doesn't provides any hostel facility. You have to take a pg or flat. There are a lot of pg's and flats available nearby college you will easily find one. Although it might be a little expensive because it's a very posh area.
It's just a normal entrence exam with 4 sections of DI, Quants, LR and English. One can easily clear it by self study of 3-4 months. The competition is also decent with 20-25000 students and around 2000 seats in all the colleges offering the course.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
